the 'fatter' side visible in a few of the cubes is cos eack one has a side which scrunchles (new word!) when he touches it, made from recycling carrier bags and sandwiching them between the fabric...

    :)

well done :T Those cubes are brilliant - did you really make 24 of them  What a lucky boy fergus is to have such a talented Mummy. You would love some of the patchwork things my mum has made Annabel - I must get round to taking a picture for you. Oh, and you'd never know you were self taught either.

On an unrelated note I'm hoping Celia's recent growth spurt is over, she ate like a chuffing horse! She was up every hour for a few nights which was the tiniest bit tiring! But the 9-12 sleepsuits that were hanging off her now fit perfectly!

We went to see Harry Potter this afternoon too, at one of those Newbie things that Odeon do, Celia was a star she got a bit scared during the battle as it was a bit loud and jumpy but apart from that she played or ate or had milk so we got to watch the film! Marvellous!

OH just asked if he should come home, he isn't very well. Baby is a bit grumpy and I feel a bit poorly too. Roll on Thursday and we can have a long weekend in bed.

A bit of an odd, clearly-from-a-new-mum type question, but hey-ho... How many baby change facilities in shopping centres have toilets in? I'm baffled as to how I manage to go for a wee with a baby and pram in tow!:o

Don't think I've ever needed the toilet while shopping on my own with Alice. I usually go to the toilet before I go out so it would need to be a long shopping trip for me to need it. Disabled toilets usually have a lot of space so they could be an option perhaps? (Sometimes the baby changing is in the disabled toilet anyway.)
