She posted early this morning but no news since x

oh yeah, I wanted your opinions, in tesco today Ed was crying while I was packing the shopping and some woman came and stroked his cheek and held his hand, now I don't like this at the best of times but with swine flu seemingly everywhere I REALLY don't want anyone touching my baby boy. so my questions is what would you do?

erm, thanks elle and r mac, Please be gentle, I'm self-taught and didn't use a pattern!:o

the 'fatter' side visible in a few of the cubes is cos eack one has a side which scrunchles (new word!) when he touches it, made from recycling carrier bags and sandwiching them between the fabric...

    :)

    I think I love you Weezl :D

They are fab - what an ace mummy you are :T

On an unrelated note I'm hoping Celia's recent growth spurt is over, she ate like a chuffing horse! She was up every hour for a few nights which was the tiniest bit tiring! But the 9-12 sleepsuits that were hanging off her now fit perfectly!

We went to see Harry Potter this afternoon too, at one of those Newbie things that Odeon do, Celia was a star she got a bit scared during the battle as it was a bit loud and jumpy but apart from that she played or ate or had milk so we got to watch the film! Marvellous!

Yay Celia!! I need to find one of those showings! (Wolverhampton if anyone is generously thinking that they might do a search ;):rotfl:)

Well we have had a busy day and Benjamin has been an absolute angel! He slept til 7.05am (from 7pm ) but I think that was injection induced! He fed, slept til 9am, fed, stayed in bed with daddy whilst mummy had a soak in the bath (and went to sleep with daddy yay!). He then had a bath with daddy before we all pottered off to DSS's leaving service - he left the school he has been in since reception class today to go to middle school. Incidentally, the service was in the church that DH married his first wife who sat with us but nobody mentioned it :rotfl:

The service was ace - the Year 4's (who were leaving - there is only 10 of them) sang 'The Time of Your Life' by Green Day which had us in tears!!!
Benjamin slept in my arms for most of the service - some mean feat when there is singing and clapping going on!!
Then back to Ex-Wifeys Parents house where Benjamin turned on the charm for all 4 generations of her family :D

We then went for an early dinner at a nice country pub (I know 3!!! :o) where B sat nicely and watched us eat. THEN to see Great Niece - more sleeping from Benjamin :D

We finally got home about 7.30pm...Benjamin had a bottle with daddy and (BEST OF ALL) daddy took him to bed awake and settled him down all by himself :T:T

    I am officially redundant :rotfl:

V pleased cos it means I can go out on a girly day with SIL for her 40th in a few weeks and hubby has no excuse!!

Haven't heard from 3 as such but she did take Violet swimming today as planned...she posted the pics on FB.

I love the curtains and cubes Weezl.

It's reminded me I've got some curtains to take up for our sitting room and dining rooms but I keep forgetting to borrow the sewing machine from my Mam. We've had no curtains for ages - just the blinds in the sitting room (front window) and nothing in the dining room as it's at the back and not overlooked :o

I normally use disabled toilets when I've got the pushchair or trolley. It's safer having baby in there with you, than leaving them outside or trying to have a wee and hold a baby at the same time.
Here I go again on my own....

Ah, thanks. Hopes she logs on again.

Go on, tell us what you did?! ;)

I get ladies talking to Jamie and Poppy all the time but not usually touching them so I really don't know what I would do . Probably stop packing and pull him closer to me...and lie to the lady that he has been fretful all day! :o
