She posted early this morning but no news since x

oh yeah, I wanted your opinions, in tesco today Ed was crying while I was packing the shopping and some woman came and stroked his cheek and held his hand, now I don't like this at the best of times but with swine flu seemingly everywhere I REALLY don't want anyone touching my baby boy. so my questions is what would you do?

Actually - I am clearly a bit blase about this....I hope you were okay about me having a cuddle with Ed

I do apologise if I put you in an arkward position :o

Thanks SB! My oldest friend told me two nights ago that she and her husband are splitting after ten years. They are desperate to make it a 'happy' divorce and I think I managed to convince her that it can happen, especially when there are children involved!

I, on the other hand, think I would be a COMPLETE cow if Ken and I split up :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sami, have you been to Gullivers World? My Childrens Centre is running a trip there next month. Poppy loves Dora!

I may have when I was iccle, I hate anything remotely rollercoasterish so we didn't go to places like that much, we did however used to make an anual pilgramige to albert docks, I'm sure I used to know of by heart the complete history of the slave trade through those docks!:rotfl:

oh no, I know you so its ok :D

I didn't say anything but did wipe him down as soon as we got to the car :p
I usually just do the slowly keep moving away thing when someone approaches in the aisles but I was trapped packing (with THE most unhelpful SA  I had to ask for more bags 3 times  what made her think I could fit a trolley full of shopping in 3 bags I'll never know!)

I've never actually told anyone to get off, I'm too shy but inside I was thinking "get the fook off my baby!" :rotfl:

:T is that the 'early baby' size?

Have you ventured to the sale bit or to the next sale? everything I saw in both seems to be early baby or newborn

It's the one with blue dogs on.. you might know it! ;)

Yeah, I did look in the sale bit of Tesco yesterday, but I've just bought loads on eBay so I'm waiting for all that to arrive then I'll work out what else I need :)

I ordered two pairs of trousers for £4 from Asda the other day, then won a bundle of 31 items, which includes the very same trousers, for £4 for the lot!

Not been to Next - will go tomorrow :)

oh that sleepsuit sounds lovely :D;)
He's just the right size for his gestational age then, Chris wore that size for about 2 weeks and Ed was too big for it from birth, the little porker - he's now 11lb 2oz (5.05kg)

Those with reflux babies I've just discovered this expensive but possibly handy gadget http://www.bloomingmarvellous.co.uk/product.aspx?CategoryID=r-sleeping-ess&ProductID=82172&language=en-GB

oh and those that like the stokke trip trap this could be a cheaper alternative, £70 for the chair and £19.50 for cushion http://www.bloomingmarvellous.co.uk/product.aspx?CategoryID=n-highchairs&ProductID=82890NAT&language=en-GB
