Just done my sums etc for staying home and it looks like if DH doesn't get ANY bonus then I can afford to stay home till the new year and have a small lump sum to make an overpayment on a card or something else...
And that's without me making anything extra on my self employed stuff
By the time I go back I'll have been off for over a year probably at this rate lol! Not the year I'm entitled to - but I had a lot of holiday off before Alexandra arrivedDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Hi all,
Thought I'd better FINALLY post on the parents thread since Caitlin is 5 weeks old today.
I just don't know how you ladies get back on MSE the same day or within a few days of giving birth!
I have been blessed(?!?) with a baby who doesn't like sleeping very much but enjoys crying quite a lot. We finally seem to be getting somewhere and she has been settled more over the past few days. Unfortunately, we have only been able to get her settled by introducing two formula feeds (one about 9am and one between 10-11pm) and then breast feeding the rest of the time.
I really wanted to do 100% BF but I don't think I've been producing enough milk to satisfy her and that's why she was crying all the time. I know everyone says that you produce enough to meet your baby's demands but I genuinely don't think I do. I've also had mastitis twice (have had two lots of antibiotics) which I don't think has helped.
Now we seem to have got into bit more of a routine and Caitlin will actually let me put her down for more than two minutes, I'm hoping I'll be able to get on here a lot more to catch up with you all.
I still owe you my birth story too, which - I promise - I'll get round to eventually!!
I haven't had time to read anything tonight, but I hope everyone is OK. I'm looking forward to chatting to you all again.

Welcome chopsticks. Great choice of nameA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Only the horses round here think Knackered is a bad word! :rotfl:
I forgot what else I was going to say... got DH to do the cupboard under the stairs, kids bathed and in bed, DH playing xbox on his new gaming chair, pram is built up, I sat on the filing cabinet and broke it and started blubbing again.
DS2 has decided to only let Daddy wash his hair, I'm too rough aparently. And I'm getting bloody sick fed up of calling his physio. He is hurting every night in his leg and ankle but course, it's summer holidays so he can just be left to get on with it  He even asked, and took ibuprofen tonight which is not normal for him!
And DS1's tooth came out, he now has no front teeth at all! :rotfl:
Caz, sounds like you had a good day, and I wouldn't shop there either! They do work their breaks a bit strange, but it may be that staff have asked for it that way. Not so keen on it myself though, I like a proper rest.0 -
Oh dear Tia Hope your DS is ok and hope your sending OH into be the tooth fairy coz your waddle might wake him:rotfl::rotfl:Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070
