Oh, just been to investigate - getting strange looks from OH! - I didn't realise ours had a removeable foam wedge in there! Have worked out how to take it out now. One to remember for the future methinks. It's probably just Rhys' baggy clothes that are making him look more scrunched up.
OH is trying to get Rhys to watch Kung Fu Panda with him.. :rolleyes:0 -
Mrs Moc - hugs to you chick! It does sound like mastitis and yeah I had it too
it's horrible isn't it? Ironically the thing that shifted it really quickly was putting Alexandra back on the boob (even though she didn't latch properly and it was extreemly painful to do it!) because as you say you just can't express it out and it feels horrible and bruised and you can't bear to touch it but you have to to get the blockage out... *sigh* The warm flannels definitely helped as did hot baths and hot showers - but the cure was getting baby latched on and grit your teeth through the pain of the thrush
If you're really lucky the block will actually disappear within a few hours (one of the ones I had did... I eventually ended up at one point or another with one on each side of each boob.
If you feel you can't carry on BF or expressing then try not to feel too bad - I was so close to giving up too and it was only because I'm the worlds most stubborn person at times that I carried on. I can't imagine what it must be like to do it with other children to look after too and a womb infection on top!
You've done great - just keep telling yourself that!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

The foam bit comes out??? *cusses and goes off to check her car seat that only yesterday did she take the headhugger and triangle thingy out off because the baby was looking a tad scrunched!* Never occured to me that it might come out! *slaps forehead*DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Think we remember where I stand on car seats from the pregnancy thread
Leave the head hugger in, it helps prevent plagio, but I agree that the seats are full of irritating useless bits! Speaking of, I need to get DH to practice fitting the car seat in the cars.
I de-junked the livingroom and cleaned the kitchen up a bit so am feeling a little better. House is still a pigsty though. Still DH should be home in 30mins or so, he can just get his finger out and do the cupboard under the stairs, and the kids can go and kick all the crap under theri beds, atleast then I can get in to chaneg the beds without the risk of tripping/falling/getting a bit of lego stuck up my lady garden!0 -

Tia, talking of flat head syndrome, who will tell me if Rhys is okay - the physio? Noone has ever really looked at him for it recently but the nurses used to say he would get it if he kept lying in his favoured position..0

My towels are also folded in a certain way, and the ones on the towel rail are hanging in a certain way - OH likens me to the bloke in Sleeping with the Enemy!
OH knows not to bother to help putting the shopping away - he'd just wind me up.

Okay - I feel left out - no AF in this house yet at all and I stopped BF totally about 2 1/2 weeks ago - LO is 6 months this week. I presume that's normal???? (of course not 'medically asking'
