This is the one I have and I love it :) Not sure if Dylan does or not though !!
Ryan has this one, my sis gave it to me but half the hangy bits are missing, he's only for the parrot, monkey and mirror but he will still lie under it for ages, he now grabs the monkey and shakes it about, so sweet!

    Morning all..

Like MM, I just dropped in to wish Caz good luck :D

No AF here - beauty of going back on the minipill for me ;)

Do babies progress more by spending time with older babies? I'm sure it's probably just coincidence this time but Rhys has been breastfeeding and rolling since we saw my friend and her little one do both on Tuesday, so was thinking about the future and if he could learn things from watching older babies..

I think I'm going to have to phone the Notts docs sooner rather than later. Depending on his mood, he's prefering boob to bottle which doesn't help get his meds into him cos he'll just push the bottle away. Will have to see what I ought to be doing about his milk powder..

He's improving every day with the BFing - I think it might have been his size when we were trying it in the hospital. I have long arms and (if I do say so myself!) perky boobs, so the gap between him lying on my arm and reaching my nipple was just too big for him to feel comfortable and safe, hence the squealing. Now he's bigger he can get comfy and do it for longer :) Suppose that problem doesn't come up very often cos most newborns are over the 6lb-ish he probably is now, let alone the 4lb he was when trying it in the hospital!

Elle have you tried a nursing pillow? It made a heck of a difference to feeding Alexandra! I tried one at a "New parents" group organised by the HVs and ended up going shopping for one that weekend! It's SO much easier on your arms and back - especially as they get bigger! :)

Elle, part of the reason DS2 was sent to nursery when he was 2 was to learn from other children. I saw a huge difference in him. So I'd guess if it works with toddlers it would work with babies? Personally, I would say yes, get him as much socialisation as possible. I'm sure the physio can explain it to you my brain is fried thismorning, was dreaming about fairies all night!

And I did love the hand clasping and rolling, he is doing great! Again, sorry about the jaundice thing, I'm giving him more problems, the poor wee guy!

Seriously shattered, Searching! Kids are happy, their R4 cards have been fixed for the DS's, but both are needing charged and of course DS2 has chewed one charger so it's 5mins of charging each.

To bake a cake and make macaroni for dinner as requested by DS1.

Oh yeah, and yesterday I did as DH said and left the dishes for him to do when he came home from work... guess what? They are still there...

Tia - keep them cards safe! It's near impossible to get the R4s anymore - apparently Nintendo have started going legal on distributors because some people use them to illegally rip games on to! (Noooooo never!!!! Who'd DO such a thing!!!)

That was a short night for you Sami!

I don't think I have any autistic spectrum position, but OH may, and my mum is actually quite heavily involved with autism -

    and

    http://www.autismandcomputing.org.uk/about.en.html

is the charity she set up - might be a bit dry reading, but perhaps there's a tiny link to some of you who live on the forums! :p (not really connected, the charity is about using computers to help autistic people, basically because one thing that helps autistics is rules and things that respond in exactly the way they expect, which are things computers are good at).

(ETA: I have probably totally savaged and abused Autism & Computing's purpose and vision there, so don't take my word for it!)
:rotfl: thanks Bruno but don't worry I was posting from bed using my ipod while feeding;) I only actually got up properly at 11am (ah the joys of being toddler free).
I'm off to look at those links, I find autism, downs etc very interesting I'm a bit obsessed

OK time for me to be weird again.. doesn't stop us having our fun

Elle Deff try a pillow for feeding if your arms get tired(can't believe no one at hosp told you that at the time!), did you have a body pillow for when preg? I've used mine as a BF pillow

36hours and still no poop from Ed but he is at least happier now think I'll start a book, any bets for when he's gonna go? :p

PS. please vote for Tilly from warrington in the pink dress (she's getting beaten by Tilly Mae :() http://www.faceofkinder.co.uk/view-gallery.aspx?term=tilly&age=-1&regionid=-1&locid=-1&boys=0
