When DS was diagnosed, they said that Autism wasn't something thats hereditary. It so is! Even Mum has agreed, that if I was a child now, i'd be diagnosed without a doubt. I was the weird kid that wouldn't speak to anyone - and didn't really like (or understand) other people.

My bio father is totally autistic, as is his son after me.
Two of my uncles on mums side are also odd! :D One has the most impressive collection of DVD's, all in perfect alphabetical order - he gets so annoyed if we move one for a laugh! :rotfl:

I really should take a picture of my lovely tidy tins cupboard, or my crisps cupboard with crisps in flavour order. (Really!).
I think I'm on the low end of the spectrum along with my dad and his mum. Its soo hereditry;)
I'll have to show OH this, he thinks I'm weird for having my tins organised into categories (sweet, soup, veg, beans&spagetti, Chris's) :D

he's been burping a trumping as normal, gripewater is evil :p no infacol in the house and TBH I don't think it works :o Chris had it for months but still had colic.

He's dropped off now but still in his day clothes and on my lap - I'm scared he'll wake it I move him :undecided

spoke too soon he's up! off to get his PJs on..

Think it's the same all over Scotland.

The size of our class halfed in 2 months but there was still a number of silly young girls. I'm 28 and the other woman was 33, the rest were below 21! Few times we just had to grit our teeth. Think I appreciated it more because I was older. I knew/know exactly (more or less) what I am working towards and enjoy it because it gets me out the house, away from the kids and it's a challenge to learn now.

Remember and get an application in for council tax benefit! I forgot, but you get 25% off for being a student! And tax credits aren't affected either. I only lost my carers allowance, but bursary was £400 a month, so was £200 a month better off. Plus the hardship fund gave me 2 payments of £150 (again, apply for the hardship fund as everyone gets it).

I only get a whopping £10 a week from tax credits, I think it's almost worth not claiming for that, as you have to report to them the SLIGHTEST thing, oh sorry, I forgot to tell you I farted at 2:08pm on the 15/07/09 - THATS IT, FRAUDULENT CLAIM!

Do you really get 25% reduction? That's great, would save me £30 a month! I don't think I'd get £400 a month, would be nice though :o is it not based on how many children you have also? What's the hardship fund? Do I say I can't pay me rent or something? LoL.

See I thought I wouldn't get a bursery because I don't get WTC, I did last year of the massive sum of £2.05 a week. Rolling in it I was :p

And all facing the right way! :rotfl:

OH finds it highly amusing to take out a pack of prawn cocktail crisps, and put them back in the wrong place!

But tins in order is normal

Mine all face the front, and are in rows in the right order...tomatoes on the right, followed by beans, spaghetti/pasta, pulses, vegetables, soups, fish, fruit...

...whenever I think about this I always do the cupboard from right to left...that may be a little wierd :o

Hubby very quickly learned that packing shopping into bags and putting it away at home is something that he just shouldn't get involved in ;) although he loves the fact that everything is where it should be :D

Edit - scruffy - folding towels the right way is normal too...isn't it?? Same as folding Benjamins clothes the right way...

...oh my lord!! Is all this anal stuff I do labelled as autism??

Yes it is! But I don't have a printer  I keep telling OH we need to buy one, but he just HAS to have the best one, it must do this and this, what's wrong with an el cheapo one? It must be an HP too as he gets free cartridges from work.....

Thanks for that though, I'll phone OH's dad in the morning as he is coming with us and ask him to print it off :) I think they have the walking with beasts exhibition on right now, and DD is Dinosaur/anything remotely scary mad! Should be interesting!
