I'm hoping I enjoy it more so this time than last time. There was a lot 15year olds in my class as it was a childcare course, they had all got early leave from school (wonder why) and the atmosphere just felt like school! They would sit and slag off people, brag about going out boozing in town and having sex with whomever was the flavour of the week - these people wanted to be social workers? They got thrown out eventually though :)

So is the bursery system the same throughout Scotland then?

You didn't confuse me :) I confuse myself lol
  • Oh, and I was more worried about DS when he didn't smell right than when he had a temp of 104 and had the GP volunteering to do a home visit 3 hours after he'd last seen him.

YAY - I am SO glad that it is not just me :T

We just spent the week with in laws... We went up to Liverpool Tuesday and FIL drove us home on Thurs so we gave our pre booked tickets to SIL to use if she wished and she decided to come down and stay a couple of days with us and we took her to the station today, was really nice to have her stay a couple of days, she's going through a really rough patch (not helped by MIL being a complete waste of space yesterday) and I think she's glad to know she still has some family she can turn to...

    ...

Did you get the the new bugs thing at the Albert Dock?

:eek:no! hmm maybe my talent isn't as good as I thought :(
MIL's neighbors have 1 son that's diagnosed but all 4 of their kids and both parents are soo on the spectrum if you ask me!

also: AARRRGGGHHHHH!!!! somebody PLEASE get Edgar to poop  he's obviously having stomach pains, keeps screaming and arching his back (almost ripping my nip off in the process!!)

    Ouch!!

When DS was diagnosed, they said that Autism wasn't something thats hereditary. It so is! Even Mum has agreed, that if I was a child now, i'd be diagnosed without a doubt. I was the weird kid that wouldn't speak to anyone - and didn't really like (or understand) other people.

My bio father is totally autistic, as is his son after me.
Two of my uncles on mums side are also odd! :D One has the most impressive collection of DVD's, all in perfect alphabetical order - he gets so annoyed if we move one for a laugh! :rotfl:

I really should take a picture of my lovely tidy tins cupboard, or my crisps cupboard with crisps in flavour order. (Really!).

Think it's the same all over Scotland.

The size of our class halfed in 2 months but there was still a number of silly young girls. I'm 28 and the other woman was 33, the rest were below 21! Few times we just had to grit our teeth. Think I appreciated it more because I was older. I knew/know exactly (more or less) what I am working towards and enjoy it because it gets me out the house, away from the kids and it's a challenge to learn now.

Remember and get an application in for council tax benefit! I forgot, but you get 25% off for being a student! And tax credits aren't affected either. I only lost my carers allowance, but bursary was £400 a month, so was £200 a month better off. Plus the hardship fund gave me 2 payments of £150 (again, apply for the hardship fund as everyone gets it).

I really wanted to... But we mentioned it to FIL and he was looking at the website and started commenting on the £10.95 entry... Made me feel like he thought we were wasting money... So I didn't mention it again... Might see if we can pop along next time... Just won't mention it before hand... ;)

That sounds more like wind than needing to poop

I'd be getting the gripewater out...or a few droppers of infacol.
he's been burping a trumping as normal, gripewater is evil :p no infacol in the house and TBH I don't think it works :o Chris had it for months but still had colic.

He's dropped off now but still in his day clothes and on my lap - I'm scared he'll wake it I move him :undecided
