what did you do with all the milk? didn't some end up needing to be thrown away? or did you put it on your cornflakes :)
We use it in Alice's porridge and occasionally we use it if we want to get her fed really quickly (e.g. if we've been out and she's late to bed already). Once she got to one we decided that it wasn't so important to worry about the age of the milk as we keep our freezer pretty cold - I'm sure the guidelines are based on the assumption that it will be very young babies drinking the milk.

you'd think he could use some level of common sense wouldnt you? we have only just moved in, maybe the last people complained about bent mail
We complained about a new postman bending our post at the old house but then they changed it back to the old one and even though I had specified it was a new postman and we'd not had problems with the old one, they spoke to the old one about it and told him to knock on the door to ask me about it. OH answered the door (I was feeding Alice) and didn't realise it was not the same one until he was telling me about it and I asked who it was as I had seen the old one back doing ours so he ended up having to searching the streets to find him and tell him that it hadn't been him we complained about.

Thanks hun - he's been much better - it's actually quite funny as he's still unsure about doing stuff with out being told/asked, mainly because I used to be very specific about how things were done... So he decided to tidy the kitchen - cue 15 questions about where so and so was, it that the stuff for the hob, kitchen tops, sink etc? Should he leave it to soak or not? He's a lovvie :D
I used to be like that and was even worse when I was pregnant (probably because I was sitting around doing nothing watching him do all of "my" jobs and I was sick all the time so fussy about what I ate). The week after Alice was born OH kept asking me all sorts of detailed questions such as how I wanted my food and I was saying, "I don't care - I just want to eat."
Sami I received a top from Bizziebaby couple of weeks ago and emailed to say it had arrived but still havnt received the questionaire. Also received a sun suit and hat which I havnt reported on yet :)
Now I'm getting really jealous - some people have had more than one things and me, r.mac and fritha haven't had anything yet.

    Well done Caz! XXX

Finally bought a pushchair, the Britax Vigour. Went to collect it and when the lady said £249 please I pretended not to hear and turned away. Look on OH's face was priceless as she looked straight at him. :rotfl:He's so tight he thought he would just get away with contributing towards it and I made him pay it all. He earns 4x what I do so he can get stuffed!!

whats his/your problem with food? the most fun job I've ever had was when I was a waitress ;)
The only thing I wouldn't do is anything involving cleaning toilets or old people (nothing against old people I'm just not cut out for it)

Mine too! I did it full time for a year, first job after college (working in an estate agent whilst at college). Absolutely loved it, it's only because my boss told me I was wasted there and started telling all her customers (all big business men) that, that one of them offered me a fulltime office job and I just waitressed in the evenings for another two years. Still went back every Christmas but last one (due to being pregnant). In fact, if I wanted cash in hand work whilst I'm on mat leave I could probably go back again.. must remember that one! (noone remind me what I do for a living now! ;))

I could do cleaning but not caring - can't cope with old people or children! (I'm surprising myself with looking after Rhys! :o)

Caz, 3, anyone else with 3+ kids, do you have cars and if so, what do you drive? Are they cars that can fit 3 child seats etc? Are the only options MPVs if you want to fit the whole lot in?

    Citreon C4 Grand Picasso - 7 seater - and I love it!
We're due to change it next year and I think we'll be getting another. We hired a Meriva/Zafira?, whichever has 7 seats before we got this one and this one's 6th and 7th seats are much bigger/better.
Although a normal 5 seater would do us, as DS is in a normal seat belt, DD1 on a booster so only one proper car seat for us.

OH has a BMW M3 convertible! Totally not family friendly but its his baby! However, I like to borrow it if its sunny and i've only got one or two children with me.
Caz I worked with alot of kids with pica but they had other learning difficulties to. Some ate very strange things!!!

DS (with autism and learning difficulties) has always ate strange stuff. Favorites include grass, leaves, baby wipes and tumble drier fluff!

Well done on the job CAZ - it'll be strange to be out in the real world mixing with adults! :T

I had a night out last night, one of my best work friends was leaving. We went out at 3pm, and I didn't get home til gone 1am.
I really regretted it this morning though - hangover/headache/feeling sick don't mix well with three children.
A good night was had by all though - I saw lots of lovely work mates, all telling me I look great! :D
