Depends what you wanna do, SM. Retail might be hard cos all the xmas temps will be leaving, or kept on if there are vacancies, at that time..

If you're thinking about schools, teaching assistants and the like, check the papers/websites in September time. I know teachers have to give a terms' notice, not sure about TAs.

You might be better going back to your old job for a month or so. Christmas is one of those times where people get some time off and time to think about how much they hate their job so decide to quit when they go back in Jan. Need to give it a few weeks for the adverts to get out, then apply. Or you could send speculative applications out so they're waiting on the HR peeps desks for when the resignations hit.. :)

MFD - hugs to Benjamin. it's scary isn't it? I do hope that he gets better really quickly.

Caz - well done on the job!!!

Becles - enjoy your night out.

Biizie baby - sent me an email - but it was just their newsletter!!! :(

Rant alert - DH was away last night on a boys night adn due home today about 6pm. He's just called to say that he's coming home now between 7-8pm with a friend and thier off on a night out here. But, and this is the bit that's really annoyed me. His parents are driving them both over and thought they'd just hang around and spend the evening with me :eeek: I've explained that LO will be asleep in bed and I am not changing routine just for granny and grandpa and DH seemed to think that was fine. So mnuch for my nice romantic evening with the nice dinner for two I had prepared and the bottle of wine that was chilling. Grrrrrrrrrr. I'm mad with him. really mad. I'm off to clean something.....
