    ooh I like that too!
randomly (or not as you'll find out) I like the smell of burning, specifically tyres/cars - reminds me of home :rotfl:

    Classy :p :rotfl:
  • Sorry ladies. I don't think I have it in me to catch up :o

I'm shattered. I have been wearing the same pair of contacts since yesterday morning and whilst Benjamin is asleep in his cot I keep haring up the stairs to check that he hasn't vomited.

My mum came today because we were taking DSS to Birmingham to see We Will Rock You. By the time we left Benjamin hadn't vomited for 8 hours or so and he seemed okay...not his usual self but okay.

Whilst we were out (fantastic show but it was hard to concentrate when you are just wondering if everything is okay) Benjamin only drank 4oz of EBM and screamed when mum tried to give him more. He then was majorly sick over mum at about 5.30pm.

We had to make a quick appearance at my nephews birthday party (at Go Kidz Go) to pick up hubby and DSS (who I had dropped off there on the way back from Brum) but we decided not to go to the wedding reception that we were supposed to be at tonight!

Why do these things always happen when you have a busy day planned?

I am torn between leaving Benjamin in his cot, thereby increasing the chances of him having a good nights sleep (but lessening my chances) but running the risk of him being sick and me not knowing or whether to get him in our bed again tonight where none of us will sleep very well but at least if he is sick I will know about it

Sleep in shifts so there's always someone awake watching over him?

Hope he's better soon! Have a dodgy hug :grouphug: ;) xx

Ed hasn't pooped at all in the last 24hrs, he usually goes 4-8 times a day :( I'm contemplating a glass of orange before next feed...

Celia did that at four weeks, she went from pooing at every feed she suddenly didn't go for three days! The hv said it's normal for bf babies as they hang on to the milk to get as much as they can out of it. The nappy at the end of the three days was interesting to say the least!

Could you compromise? One of you sleep on the floor in his room so he can sleep in his cot but you (or dh) will be close enough if he's poorly again? *hugs* to all of you and a big get well soon to Benjamin

do the 6th & 7th seats fold down flat in yours?
OH wants the c4 picasso but I fancy having the option of 7 seats thinking ahead to having Chris's friends for tea etc.

Yes, they fold completely flat, with flippy cover thingys, and a boot cover so it's like a normal hatchback with boot with the seats down.

My only moan is that if its in 7 seat mode, theres only a tiny boot space - but its a bigger space than in any other 7 seaters we looked at. We couldn't fit the pram in - but can manage the umbrella fold buggy.

3 - When I was a kid, I loved the tumble dryer, the smell of it, the noise, and I used to walk around with tumble dryer fluff and smell and lick it all day long. Until a new batch was done. Even now I sniff the fluff before I put it in the bin!
my thing was firelighters !! I used to scape one so that a little bit was under my nail and I could smell it all day :o:D

    Strange - but cute! :D

Button - so glad your sister is ok. Those photos were horrendous, she's so lucky!

You should pop round - i've just let a pan of cauliflower boil dry! It stinks!

I'm trying to be good mummy and cook some new tastes for Violet - but I forgot i'd left the cauli on and went and got a shower.

The pan is past saving - straight to the wheelie bin I think! (Maybe jars of food aren't such a bad thing!)

    Hugs to Benjamin. Poor love!
As Fritha suggested - could you sleep in shifts? One of you try and get a few hours now, while the other watches Benjamin?
