I'm a firm beleiver in lack of sleep is the root of amny problems, including and especially making us feel like we are bloody crud!:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
All that sounds easy enough! Basically there are four different types:
Pouches, but you'd need one each for you and dh unless you're a very similar size.
Ring slings, one shoulder carry, adjustable, baby can lie down when small or be upright when bigger.
Wrap, two shouldered carry (so better for bad backs) very versatile, really comfy imo, but a larger learning curve
mei tai, two shouldered carry more like a commercial carrier but comfier. It tends to be the one that dads like!
All the last three should fit your requirements and I have all three you can play with at the meet too :-)
Thanks so much, will come along and see what we can come up with!My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Yup - it is just a rubber giraffe but the reviews are fabulousI just want the 'it' toy to go with my designer son
:rotfl:
To be fair, I don't think I have bought Benjamin a single toy yet!!! All the toys I bought for my nephews over the years have been slowly migrating back to my house!! Although they have multiplied!!
Lol, must need to get with it a bit more! Thats me not you :rotfl:
I have bought Lexi a few bits and bobs but she is super spoilt so not much of a need, I prefer to buy her pretty dresses and shoes!;) Naughty Mummy...
Button glad she is ok! xx

I'm not sure what we've got. Well, we've got a V box of some sort. Plus an antiquated Freeview box upstairs.
I could, if I was sufficiently organised, record it, as long as it didn't clash with cricket / rugby / anything on any other channel anyone randomly switched to without realising I was planning to record.
And as long as I could find a disc with sufficient space! I spent 15 minutes last night failing to find a disc, and as someone else was watching I couldn't interrupt their viewing to see what I could delete.
Plus I very rarely look and see what's on at 3 pm, tend not to look at anything before 9 pm, because that's when I can collapse. And if I record too much, I never get round to watching it! :rotfl::j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

FWIW - I don't think a 15 year old should be out driving around country lanes with anyone in the middle of the night.
My mum isn't a very good parent. She will tell her not to do X Y or Z but not actively do anything about it. I feel sorry for my sister, as though she is 15, I've always thought she has the mental age of someone younger. She has always been like that, very naive, easily led. I know she is sexually active, I tried to tell her of the consequences, but I think once a boy says "Oh blah blah blah" she'll fall for it.
I've told my mum numerous times, take her mobile away/internet, so then she can't make plans to go out with Tom !!!!!! and Harry, but of course she doesn't. Anything for an easy life with her.
One time she thought she was pregnant, and I'm glad she came to me about it, as when I found out I was pregnant (and was unsure and confused about the whole thing) she went and told EVERY single person she could. Now, my mum would of done the EXACT same thing with her, she's like that, and for all Lisa's faults and bad choices, you don't need tarred with something like that. Anyways, it was clear thankfully, I also have frogmarched her down to the STD clinic just to make sure also, she insists she uses condoms though. So at least she has some sense about that.
My mum is weird, OH thinks so too, says she is scum, which is probably true, she's done LOADS of things to me over the years, suprised I'm not in therapy, but I don't live with her now so get along better, but she won't take an active role in anything, she'd rather sit on her laptop and let the other kids get on with it, DON'T ANNOY ME! But when something serious happens (like last night) she will act the worried/upset parent, naturally she IS, but those times are the only times I've seen her look like a "proper" parent.
When I got mugged, you'd of thought SHE got mugged the way she was carrying on.
Got I should be on Jeremy Kyle with this lol, dysfunctional familys.
Glad I'm not like her, that's all I can say!0 -
