OH is asian, so everything is bland too him, not like his mums currys he tells me, well go make it your blummin self then! Never does tho!
Quick Q - Do you iron things inside out? Im trying to be a domestic goddess or something.....I got an apron and an iron for my 21st last year from OH - Cheeky or what haha (I did ask for it though) anyways, Ive used the iron once, and im sick of Keira looking trampy because of my lazyness of not ironing her clothes
Inside out or no?
I iron most things inside out and then flip them the right way to do sleeves and things as you dont want inside out creases iyswim? I just do it as so much of Joshuas things have those stickers on that you can melt...and then some materials go shiny if you iron them! I loved ironing Lexis things when pregnant now I dont like it much at all LoL Too small and fiddly!

Her DS goes bonkers for all our winnie stuff when he's here
That just reminded me the day after Celia was born when Himself arrived to the hospital I proudly announced I'd named her. I chose Winnie. All through my pregnancy we said we'd see what she looked like before naming her. I joked we'd end up calling her Winston (because babies have a tendency to look like Winston Churchill) after all the drugs and the lack of sleep and nine hours sat feeding her I decided it would be nice to actually call her Winston, well Winnie, and announced as much to Himself.
He said no. I asked why. He said because of Winnie The Pooh. I thought he'd gone mad as wtp is a bear and rather nice.
A week later I suddenly realised why it would be a bad thing! I still really like the name though!Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -

Benjamin is sitting now...although not usually for longer than a minute and only usually when I amuse him with something (although he wants to sit up all the time).
He loves his bouncer...it keeps him occupied for ages playing with the teddies so I love it too. I have got no hope of keeping up with you guys when he has to stop using it
So - when do you stop a child sitting in a bouncy chair?
LO can now 'sit up' in hers and I'm going to have to put it away...another thing for the garage! I thought it was a totally brilliant purchase though - I couldn't have done anything for the first few months without one.Buttonmoons wrote: »Has anyone noticed their DD's are hairy?
When Keira was born she had some fuzz on her back, and I thought it would go, but she's 3 now and it's still on her back, and looks quite dark. It's very fine hairs, and I guess it's because she's dark haired it's more noticeable.
Does it go? I don't wanna be waxing her back at 11 because she's being teased about it. Poor lass.
Well, I know what you mean - I'm very dark haired and have sallow skin and have a 'fuzz' on my lower back - it's not really noticable as I don't wear bikinis or do public nakedness:rotfl: I'm sure your LO will be fine.r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
