Not sure if Kai is having a growth spurt or what? For the last two days he has been drinking virtually all of every bottle as well as polishing off each food meal x He is fast asleep now, but before bed he drained his usual 7oz bottle and wanted more, so I whizzed out and made another 2oz thinking he may have a suck or two...he drained that too!!! So 9oz in total aswell as draining each bottle throughout the day. A 7oz and 2 x 6oz and gobbling up his food....

I would love to get him weighed to see if he has put on a decent amount of weight now!

  • On the subject of prams I really really really want a City mini jogger - have already got my big pram (bebecar) which I use for walks into town and also have the Chicco 4me which I also love ( as it faces me and fits in the car) but OH said I have to get rid of one before I get any more - the only excuse I could give OH was that it has 3 wheels and my other 2 prams have 4;):D

Right well I haven't been on much last couple of days - obviously stress of my kitty being poorly as well as Alex having a couple of bad days and then Dh putting her in her own room for the night without asking me before letting her fall asleep in there... Well I lost it a bit yesterday. Hubby was working from home and inbetween working or when on boring conference calls he'd be on the x-box playing GOW2 - normally it doesn't bother me but a few things just got on top of me yesterday and when he went upstairs to have his last call at 5pm till 6:30 and Alexandra wouldn't let me put her down without screaming, she wasn't interested in boob and I just couldn't do anything but walk round with her... I just had enough...
Hubby finally came downstairs after his call and meekly asked if he could help with anything, take the baby or something? At this point I was trying to empty the dishwasher with one hand holding Alex with the other and holding back the tears... Mumbling a weak no he sussed it was probably worse than he first thought and came into the kitchen to take the baby off me and I just lunged at him, buried my head in his neck and burst into tears... still holding on to Alex for those worried I might have accidently put her away with the dishes... ;)
So we ended up having a long chat upstairs whilst I finally managed to convince the baby to have some milk after hubby changed her again. I know most of the things that set me off don't normally bother me but because everything just came at once i couldn't deal with it all...
So... he won't use the x box more than an hour at the time, he will not swear and shout at it when he does use it, he will pick the baby up more when she's crying instead of waiting to be asked, he'll do more housework without me having to ask him first etc :)
So today is a good day :) Yesterday was a bit horrid...

I have the quinny Speedi which I hate purely coz it's falling to bits, it does get a little bad used sometimes as it's the dog walking buggy and I have the petite star zia3 in the car. I'm hoping the quinny will get the dunt now we have the trike!!

MrsT I was meant to ask how is she getting on in her own room and how are you coping without her?
