goodness me - you have all been in 'long time' relationsships!

Not me! Met hubby in Sept 2004, got engaged Christmas 2004, he moved in November 2005, married April 06 and started TTC, then Charlotte arrived in May 07.
Here I go again on my own....

Ours was a rush to begin with...We got together in the October, moved in together in the November and got engaged in the December....This might sound strange but we didn't live together by choice, although luckily we felt very strongly about each other and got on really well and things have worked out well for us!

  • Urgh - all hubbys family have just returned from their holiday and are on their way back from the airport...we are trying to keep Benjamin awake so we can pop over and see MIL this evening but it is surprisingly difficult. He is used to his 7pm bedtime now and he just wants to settle down.

    I am a bad mummy :o

It does raise a question though...we are supposed to be going to a wedding reception on Saturday and I am not sure that taking Benjamin with us is a good idea....he used to be fine if we went out for the evening, tired but fine, now he is just shattered and grumpy! And nobody wants a love from a grumpy baby :(

We've been to weddings with Alice at 3 months, 6 months, 13 months and 16 months and Alice has generally found the whole thing too exciting to get grumpy or tired.

ETA: Wow that's a lot of weddings - my fourth wedding was my own!

  • Well I'm 36 so that definately puts me in the old mummies group:eek: but in my defense I had DD1 when I was 20 so was with the young ones then!! Met OH 5 yrs ago and he moved up here to live with me 3 months later- got engaged 2 yrs after that and had a wedding planned last year in Vegas when Ruby suprised us all and put a stop to those plans:rotfl:We are thinking of gettng married in Florida now in a couple of years when Ruby is old enough to enjoy it.

I got a great sun suit and hat ( worth £40) to test from Bizzie baby:T Now just waiting for some sun - she has been running around with it on today but cant say it really works in the down pour we have here at the minute.
