sippy cup? really? should seth have one? i hadnt even thought of trying one yet :o
he grabbed his spoon the other day and jabbed himself very hard in the mouth, poor love cried for ages! i think he learnt though, he hasnt tried to grab it since. TBH we have more of an issue with him trying to eat the bib and his hands when we're trying to feed him! i try and give him his breakfast when OH is still here cos then he holds his hands out the way ;)

    status' ;)

He does his fair share of fist eating, when he is meant to be eating dinner, I just roll his sleeves up. He also does tip the water over himself, I usually 'help' him first, just so I know he has actually swallowed some, then let him hold it and play with it....bearing in mind I only fill it about 1/5th - so he doesn't get too wet:p

Sorry, ended up having to put Maddy in her sling to get her to sleep. The Loola is nowhere near as heavy as the Mura but the Mura was easy to manouvre. The Loola seemed to have alot of buttons and springs etc, do they all get really grubby. I like things to look neat and simple. What colour do you have?

i hope your LO gets better soon jakesmummy, it isnt fun for anyone when they're ill, you get stressed cos you cant do anything and they dont know whats going on so they cry, and then you get stressed cos you cant get them to stop!

i cant help on the buggy debate, we bought a ugly travel system cos it was £130 in the clearance sales! luckily it works very well, and the ladies at my post natal group were all jealous of how easily it folds up. the moral of the story is you dont need to spend loads, get a cheap one, they all do basically the same thing ;)

ETA seth and mr kitty are being very cute, mr kitty is chasing seths feet and seth is giggling! kittens and babies, i dont think i can take any more cuteness!! :rotfl:

My loola is black and I bought it 2nd hand off ebay its still in really good nick and I don't find that it gets grubby, the seat has some stitching and folds that get bits in but I find that with all pushchair seats, nothing that a good vac won't sort out.

I really like it, especially with the teknik footmuff thing. The raincover zips on which is a bit fiddly but is great once its on.

    Things i'm not keen on

The weight (it is quite heavy)
The width, its not unusually wide I mean it fits through doorways and things but its a lot wider than a buggy and is a pain in clothes shops but again thats a problem with all big pram/pushchairs.
When the seat is parent facing its a PITA to put things in the basket cos you can't get them in from where you stand to push, you have to put them in from the side or the front.
It doesn't really fold with the seat on parent facing.

I've used it with Eloise from birth but to be honest I don't think the seat was really flat enough when she was tiny.

No sorry, nice cheapo Tomy one here, very comfy though.

One thing I was worried about the iCandy was once she's bigger they may not be sturdy enough and would it topple. (had bad experiences with thrashing toddlers) :o

I do like the Mura so will wait to see if anyone has one, maybe Caz knows a bit?
