Oh dear... we're dribbling and chewing a lot today... teething before 3 months old? Please tell me it's not likely!

If she's anything like Celia she'll have 927 episodes of teething before FINALLY sprouting some teeth at eight months!

    Hi MM :D

Right you filthy lot, those of you who had c sections, how long before you were physically able to drive again? I checked with my car insurance and they are happy so long as my doctor and I are happy.

Anyway, Schools go back August 18th, and if my consultant is determined to give me a c section, I have to plan how DS2 is going to get to nursery.

i could not drive till 9 weeks after my c section, every time we hit a bump pain shot through my tummy.
it depends how you feel, i know doctors up here recomend you do not drive for the first 6 weeks.

I would of thought weetabix would help the bowels move because it's so full of fibre?

I actually do have that baby whisperer book, somewhere.......I used it with the Pick up/Put down routine, and then I believe it got lost in amongst all the other carp in this house.

Well pullups have been hidden, knickers are on, and I've told her that there isn't anymore so if she needs to poop she'll have to go on the toilet or nowt!

OH just rang me, he's on his way home from work as he is feeling ill, he's been feeling sick for a few days, sore throat, runny nose and now he has aches and feels hot. Please don't let him infect all of us with Swine flu or whatever he's got.....

Would I be mean to insist he takes his germs to his parents house? They have a 7bed old manor house that is dirty enough to make kim and aggie happy, so I'm positive any germs he has there will be killed off by the ones already breeding there :)

I know but for some reason I always think Feely and Sami are older than me *not in a frumpy old mare way, but in a mature sophisticated way* :D
I dunno, I feel like i'm still about 18 :rotfl:

Im not old either, only 23 ....although sometimes I do feel about 40! Only sometimes though ;)

I didn't think I was old, but at 30 I feel ancient compared to some of you!

Have managed to change the bedding, hoover up, wash the dishes and even made me and DS a sandwich for our dinner! Go me!

I'm so emotional/highly strung right now, its giving me a head ache, so tense I can't even manage to cry.
Managed my 1st bit of food n drink at 3:30 - cup of tea and a bit of chicken which was going to be a chicken sandwich but OH has stolen my breast off last nights roast chuck  I have no time for that man right now and stealing my chicken is the last straw :rotfl: I sound mad i know but seriously he's all take take take recently and I'm sick of it! I think he's away tonight and tomorrow, I'm glad to see the back of him - how bad is that! I don't even know if he is away and where he is if he's away because we don't really talk anymore *big fat sigh*
on the bright side I finally delved into my pile of papers and called the tax credit peeps with last yrs figures, my income was the princely sum of almost £3.5k get me rolling in it :p

Woohoo, just got Rhys' blood test results. His Hb levels are back up to normal and kidney functions are coming down to much nearer normal :D Consultant is really pleased with him. Hopefully we can stop the jabs soon :)

More blood tests on 10th then a trip to Notts on 13th - can't wait for them to see the difference in him! :j

Thats great news Elle! Go Rhys! :j

    Congratulations

    I NEED STRENGTH !!!!!!!!!!!!!

We started Jasmine on her new bedtime routine tonight, so she went to bed at 7.30, had her light on with a story till 8, light turned out, go to sleep
I have been going in every 5 mins ever since and am now knackered !! She is still bouncing around every time I close the door !! It will work, I just need the strength to keep going with this without smacking her bum sore !!

Good Luck and keep going it wont be forever! (hugs)

It's getting my Mam involved that has riled me the most! I wouldn't care but when I was little, discipline was very strict and I lived in fear of getting told off because we used to get hit with stuff. Mam used to wear Scholl sandles with wooden soles instead of slippers and I've had that belted off my backside a few times :o Yet when mine misbehave, somehow I end up being the baddy for telling them off

He's calmed down now and said sorry, but the punishment still stands. We're all going to have a family chat later on and draw up some house rules and punishments, and a rota for the xbox to try and prevent further drama's :D
Here I go again on my own....

I'm 28 and feel old! :rotfl:

Am I doing the right thing letting DS2 wear pants? 1 week till I should be getting induced (or a c section), but he has been asking and bringing them down to wear. Maybe just stick to him wearing them at home and see if he has actually got any sensations yet?

Sami, (((hugs))) for you. It's only a passing phase hun, all the stress of a new baby and everything. Just try and make a point of relaxing and chatting, even if he's not trying, you try and hopefully he should follwo your lead. Gotta remember, we're the mature ones, not men!
