BIL & SIL still spell my name wrong on every Christmas card and Birthday card! Their kiddies have traditional Muslim names, so I've got it written down somewhere how to spell them!

Have you told him this bit? (that clearly?) My OH doesn't understand anything other than clear direct orders (or just ignores me any other time) I have told him,"The more you pester the more I'm put off" and "If you want to get me in the mood help me out with the housework/boys and actually be nice to me!!"
for some reason he doesn't understand that sitting on his laptop complaining he's tired, the dishes haven't been done, Ed is crying then next minute saying he's in the mood is NOT a good plan:rolleyes:

I thought I had, but obviously either I didn't make it clear enough, or it didn't go in. (Or he is aware he is being insesnative and doesn't care, but I don't think it is that!)

hmmm a mute button, now that would come in handy!! :p

talk of squiffy spelling has reminded me, I can't remember what site I saw it on but someone was asking opinions on names, they'd spelled out phonetically the unusual ones and in the list was "Siobhan (see-oh-ban)" :rotfl: imagine her surprise when one day someone pointed out her kid was actually called she-vaughn :rotfl:
I've also seen on tv a boy called Bjorn but they said it b-jorn !! they actually said the b - crazy American's for ya (Mrs Bruno excluded ;))

I can naver remember how to say Siobhan, but at least I know you DON'T say it See-oh-ban".

Hello to new people :) I was going to say something else too, but Izzy is asleep on me, so going to see if i can put her down and get my head down for a bit too.

I wouldn't be too worried unless you think he's going to be exposed to any of the illnesses soon? there needs to be at least 4 weeks between them too
They phoned back, i'm to take him at 2.30pm for his jabs.
He had the last lot exactly 5 weeks ago.

    Nice to meet you!

My name is Rebecca and nobody has ever been able to spell it. I always get asked how many b's and c's it has, and some people spell it the biblical way - Rebekah. I had one friend who couldn't say it at all so she called me Rubber-becca :rotfl:

Hello to slummy mummy too :)

my name is lynne there are far far far too many ways of spelling it and i know it sounds silly but if someone writes lynn it sends me mental :o:rotfl:

    Hi all especially newbies :)

I looked into how many different spellings there are of my name once.. I found 26! :( Still grates on me that monster-in-law can't be arsed to spell it right - she spells it how SHE thinks it should be spelt... Hmm, gee thanks!

Had muchos fun with my mummy friend this morning. Her LO is 5mths and constantly smiling - so cute! :D We were talking about the nearest children's centre and how my friend isn't too keen on the hygiene practices there, so with Rhys being ill and her OH having diabetes, we've decided we're going to give it a miss - Comms Nurse told me not to go if they've had swine flu there - and we're going to have our own play dates once a week :D

Non-mummy friend due over shortly.. now have to switch from talking to a mummy who knows what I'm talking about to talking to a friend who has no idea about babies - anyone else find that tough?! :o

Mummy friend has been on at me about sorting tax credits so I must get that done this afternoon. No idea where my P60 is so have emailed a colleague at work to look out the info for me - a job we all really hate and always moan about silly people losing their P60s when we tell them they are important documents! :o

Rhys currently crashed out on the sofa in just a vest.. Lying there looking like he's asleep then suddenly kicks his legs right up in the air, holds them there, then brings them down slowly.. odd kid! :D
