Am I know what you mean - (did say my sister used to be a model...) and yes she would (at present) be a good model... she loves sitting up and looking at things - she loves people so long as they pay attention to her and will giggle for nearly everyone :) the only time she won't is when she wind or she's over tired...

hope some of this list is useful krystal:

    2 sleep suits
    2 outfits

    2 vests

sleeping bag Don't have one, but will take her usual blankets with us.
    1 blanket
1 cot sheet Gosh, will have to dig around the linen cupboard for one of these!
4 muslins Don't use em... Got a couple of 'boff cloths' in the changing bag that I rarely use though...
2 bibs No need for these yet...
    night time nappy
    new pack of wipes

    nappy sacks
    wraps
    liners
nappy inners We've decided to use pampers while we're away rather than lugging dirty nappies home on the train...
    Change bag
rabbit ?! I've been hanging round this list too long cos what popped in my head when I saw this was not an appropriate baby item!
    Box of aptamil
Got my own milk supply ;)
    travel cot
Reminds me, need to call the hotel and arrange a cot!
    changing mat

    Dummies and elastic
    I wish!
    moses basket
    Sling Lives under the pram...
    Buggy
    Baby Monitor
    Car seat & white blanket
    Microwave steriliser
    bottles
    Calpol
    Teething gel
Baby wash Never used anything but water on her so far...
wet sponge in carrier bag In leiu of wipes?
Thanks Weezl, we're going on the train so trying to keep our luggage light... Thankfully won't need to lug a travel cot or moses up there, hopefully the hotel will provide a cot but if not, it's not the end of the world if she spends a couple of nights in the pushchair, I'm sure it folds flat... (we're borrowing one that the car seat fits on to so we can take her up in the car seat like a travel system rather than having to lug it seperately... Just waiting for it to be dropped off so I can figure out how it works!) and she usually ends up in bed with me anyway!

Noticeable by your absence, Krystal.. Everything okay with your two? :)
My two are fine, thank you for asking :) I've had/got virtigo, so spent a bit of time lying down upstairs and catching up on the iPod.. It's just too much trouble to write long messages on so I haven't bothered... Love the pictures of Rhys on facebook :D
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

We got 'accepted' by two child modelling agencies (Scallywags and Elisabeth Smith) but OH went along to the initial picture shoot thing and was very offput by the environment and how everyone was treated, decided it wasn't worth any potential income (especially with the up front charges which I think were 250 quid). Will be interesting to hear how you go with it!

Which is exactly why I decided NOT to apply to either of those although I looked them both up :)

Soddin cat is STILL missing... ARGH!!!! Doesn't he realise this is for HIS sake??? I don't WANT to go stuffing him in a carrier (which I have to get out the loft as DH "forgot" - insert expletives), driving him 15 miles to the vets yowling and crying with a baby in the car, then hold him to have bloods done and a full check up etc before driving home - all with baby in tow... bloody bloody bloody cat! When you DON'T want him he's round your feet trying to trip you up - now that I DO want him he's refusing to come home... ARGHGHGHGHGH

    Small mercies! ;):)

Do babies sleep a lot a newborns, only waking for feeds, then gradually start waking more in the night as they get older, or if they wake only for feeds from the start does it usually stay that way?

I'm thinking because Rhys had such a slow but regimented start in the hospital and now only wakes every 3-4 hours through the night for feeds, will it stay this way or will he start waking up lots through the night as he gets stronger/needs less sleep? Does that make any sense... :o
Like everyone else says, all babies are different.
The first night I got him home, ryan slept for 7 hours through the night, then he would wake up at 3am everynight, now he flits between going through and waking once.
Wheras DS1 was a blooming nightmare, used to wake up between 4 and 7 times a night till he was 18 months old

    My Kids are strange!

They got PSP's at christmas, spent a week or two playing with them, then wouldn't look at them for love nor money...preferring to constantly whinge for time on the PS3 (in the living room) SO, we eventually sold their wii (which they barely played) and got them a PS3 in their bedroom....guess what! Yep, they are now attached to their PSP's:confused:

Maybe they think their bedroom is haunted, cos they don't seem to like spending time up there:rolleyes:
