  • It must be the day for Dysons to pack up, ours went this afternoon, too.

We used to have someone on here who was fab at repairing Dysons, and gave advice on how to do it - can anyone else remember?

Well done on the hall AnW's mum! And if you lived nearer, I may have taken up the offer of a garden - although I gave up the paid gardening and went back to teaching...

I have meanwhile decluttered four holiday gites from my list of possibles...;)

    Hi

I am so sorry that I am not really following the lists - I will do but cannot yet see the floor to do any cleaning - so I have decided that I will stop saying I will do them until i have at least made a large dent in the decluttering - should I stop posting on here???

Me - AnW'sMum has put what I was trying to convey so much better than I ever could! I didn't mean to upset anyone by my post, it was just something that struck me as I was doing the update....

:T:T:T Well done. Now ring Chris!

DH had gone out to the cinema with our friends and for a drink afterwards. I was supposed to be going too but am feeling too ill. Have been asleep all day. I just can't shake off this virus, I feel so lousy still. Every time I try to do anything it all comes back again even if all I've tried to do is wash up. It's very frustrating and the BD is creeping ever closer. I'm trying to give the BD a kick up it's bum and send it flying across the road!

Sorry for moaning I feel like that's all I ever do. I plan on doing a daily list and starting it from tomorrow onwards. I'll do my best to complete it even if I have to keep lying down in between. I can't let the house get any worse, it is really really bad, and the kitchen is awful, the washing up is taking over the world

Methekids, please keep posting even if you are not following the lists, decluttering and tidying is still flying so you are allowed to post while you are trying to find the floors! We can post on here even if we don’t do the lists, and we can adjust the lists to suit ourselves too

MO5 did the Asda delivery driver offer you compensation for being late? If not, complain, they should give you something, a gift voucher or a bottle of wine or something – Mum shops with Ocado sometimes and if they are late she always gets a gift and wine

Grateful, what does butternut squash do to your skin?

Took the recycling out, walked round the block, then emptied the boot of my car. I've filled the shelf in the kitchen, and moved a few bits in the cupboards, but I'm not going to do too much as I'll have to see how I get on with the stuff I've put on the shelf first.

I'll go out for another walk later as I'm still under 9000 steps for today, and I really want to try to get back up to a decent total.

    Yes, I am in!
My HHC turned into a 2 and a half hour challenge. DS played with his trains set while I went through his shelves, sorted out masses of rubbish and stuff to go to the charity shop, then I lugged all the toys that I had sorted from the living room upstairs and put them away.
So, DS's room is tidy (hoovered, changed linen on his bed etc too) and DH and I have a living room again (as opposed to a toy pit).
The toys will drift down the stairs in to the living room again, but for tonight it looks lovely.
So my 15 minutes knitting reward didn't happen, but maybe I can do some tonight. I want to knit a shrug to wear to a wedding on Thursday, nothing like leaving it to the last minute........!!!!!!!
I wonder if I can persuade DH to cook tonight or stump up for a take out, I am pooped.
