hi guys... long time no see.... *me and pumpkin wave frantically* :hello:
I havent been on for a very long time as had a bit of a hectic time at home .......became a single mummy 3 months ago and struggling to get me and pumpkin both dressed in clean clothes and fed a healthy meal some days nevermind tackle housework!....
(Im such a pathetic excuse for a mum.. know single mummies who have it MUCH MUCH harder than so feel awful saying that i cant even manage one little toddler and myself:o:o)
My house is depressing me though as my ex still hasnt moved his stuff out and im falling over it all..... and between uni, my avon round, doing driving lessons and trying to spend the days Pumpkin isnt with her dad or someone else doing stuff together.. i have let my house become an absolute state!
I neeeeeeeed to flylady again before i end up on an episode of "How clean is your house?".....
So before the new thread starts i thought id jump in and just ask a few questions:
1/ firstly am i allowed to come back?:rotfl::rotfl:
2/ Am i right in thinking we have a star system - so i get a star if i complete the whole list for one day?0 -
My Asda home delivery is now 15 mins late....how long should I wait before I do anything?
Only the second time I have used home delivery and they were early last week so not sure how it works really
Have to say my store are very good and phone me every delivery whether they are early late or on time.. maybe the driver just likes listening to my voice!!:rotfl:methekidsandthecat wrote: »Hi
I am so sorry that I am not really following the lists - I will do but cannot yet see the floor to do any cleaning - so I have decided that I will stop saying I will do them until i have at least made a large dent in the decluttering - should I stop posting on here???
Good grief!! Stop posting???? Heck no!!! I occasionally mention the lists (when Ive done them) but most of my posts are general gibbering at the weekend and Ive not been kicked off yet!! As someone else said, its all about mutual support! Please dont stop posting.
GREENBEE as for me being a bad influence... it may be true, it may not!! Dont let that worry you!! :rotfl: and Im sure I could sober up long enough for a cuppa sometime!!! Unless of course you fancy a darn good girls night out sometime!!!:D:D

Johanne - welcome! and big hugs about your family situation (this is Soappie masquerading as Toots by the way as she's indisposed at the moment). Of course you can join back in.
Yes, there's a star system if you complete all three levels set by Piggers and we've just invented a "if you can't cope with that big list, post five things either the night before or first thing in the morning on a daily basis (five different things each day) and if you complete all five you get a heart. R.I.P.

Welcome back!!
Im sure you are doing better than you think..esp with everything you are fitting in. I remember when I only had 1 child (now have 4!!) and had hub there at time and I still considered myself lucky to have managed a clean pair of knickers for myself some days. Please dont worry.
As everyone will say... little steps it wont take long before you are back on track..
In the meantime, since people think Im a bad influence, perhaps I could interest you in a glass of wine to start the week off??:rotfl:
