From what I've read so far the 'extra' will soon be gone  especially if he is lonely and keeps going out to 'hide' from it

Mmm that only cost him about £20 a week and because of it hes pretty much a hermit.

He doesn't have any friends either due to it and the workmates he has are either settled or will just drag him round nightclubs to get wasted and pull stupid little girls.

But only time will tell, hes barely left his mothers and apparantly still hasn't touched the "w" even gave his away.

I hope you have a good day today in London, I do think moving will be a good thing, for me it was the best thing to help me move on, I was stuck in our house for 2 years after he left and that was horrible as it was just a daily reminder. Once I moved psychologically it felt like I'd made a major leap forwards, yes I still thought about what he'd done, but at last I could start our new life ;) Sending you big hugs hun xx

London was a good day, was shattered from it though!

Spoke to him yesterday as he was stressing at moving furniture downstairs from our spare room which tbh was more his "room" last few months , his brother decided getting !!!!ed in the afternoon was more important than helping him, both called him an anchor.

Was also chatting to him on facebook for 2 hrs last night when got in :o No begging back etc, i made a few comments i shouldn't have though about him not needing a bedsit for too long as he will be with someone else, he said no he needs to be alone to sort himself out and that he was scared of being with someone else though the way he first said it made it just sound out he was scared of dating again  I probed further though to try sort that out. Although i know i need to stop asking questions, :o

Sorting out the house again today (never blinkin ending!) and trying to sort out some of the mess he made when moving, hes dumped loads of stuff back in our/my bedroom.....

My darling daddy is round helping me sort it out, we have emptied the room, hes just hoovering the floor and then gonna paint walls, then we are laying new carpet later as me and him used to have pet ratties when we first moved in who chewed all the carpet :o

I still have two good men in my life, my dad and my male cat. :rotfl:

  • Hi Lilmissmup,

Just found your diary and read through it all and didn't want to read and run as we have quite a bit in common :o

I'm still with my boyfriend but he smokes the dreaded "w" so I can't really see us having a future together. We have already had to move back in with our parents because he can't afford for us to live together anymore. It's sad that he can't (or more likely won't) give up smoking but like you said we can't make them quit can we!

Anyway I just wanted to wish you good luck in your new house (I've got 2 cats too and am dreading trying to find a landlord that will let me have them!) and good luck moving on from your ex. It looks like you have alot of good friends helping you out :)
