Well haven't updated for a few days, don't want to keep boring you all with my sadness lol.

On the money front though I still haven't rung the halifax  or my letting agent about the light thats not worked since i moved in.....

I got my new council tax book today, tad annoying the band here is the same as on my 2 bedroom house? So thats £77 a month to pay from next month. Still think its totally unfair you have to pay 75% especially as he is now paying nothing

Ex now only owes me £5, he put £120 through my door yesterday.

I am quite rich cos of all this extra cash but know in a few months it will be different, i will even have nearly £300 left in my bank at next payday.

I also just won £65 on one of the scratchcard sites as played some on my favourite slot :) Would have been £75 but i played another tenner :o

It's not boring, it helps all of us to chat about how we are feeling! You have loads of online friends so there is always someone who will read and reply. I am sure you have been there for lots of other DFWs and will continue to do so. ;)

Are you sure the new place is in the right council tax band? I think you can apply to have it rebanded even if it is rental accommodation.

Yeah might have to take a look at it.

I am not sure how long i will be here though. I am thinking of moving away but its scary but i have lived in the same town nearly all my life apart from a time living in Birmingham when my parents split up but my town doesn't have a lot going for it and feel if i don't go now i might never.

Worried i am just running away though.

    Hi Dawn

Sorry you're feeling sad but you know it will take time to heal. I wouldn't make any decisions about moving until you feel a bit more settled emotionally - you're right, it could be running away

I know part of it is running but the town i live in is very very small so would be nice to have a change of scenery as well.

Would you need to change jobs - or are you just thinking of a more local move?

Have you thought any more about going travelling? :D

Would probably be a big move, possibly London as have a few friends there and a friend that might want to move there with me.

See i don't drive either  so would need to be somewhere i can get home easily and a fast train back to Bedford from London is only 40mins and i don't wanna be too far from my Dad who lives alone here.

Even for travelling i have to quit my job as they wouldn't let me have long off, most i am allowed is two weeks.

Maybe London would be a good idea, don't know what you do - are you confident of getting a job in London? With a good enough salary to cover higher loving costs?

  • I work in an office at the moment, no career prospects at my current job, been there 5.5yrs though just kinda drifting along.

To be honest i am not really a career girl as suffered from depression in late teenage years and only have my GCSE's

I am sure i could find a job though and hopefully something i could want to get a career in, would be sharing a house or flat with others, did take a very brief look at rents and rent would probably be the same as my house here if shared with 2 others.

  • Hey chick sorry to hear you are feeling down. Don't worry about moaning on here we all would love to hear how you are and offer support where we can.

Moving may be a good idea, although obviously would be away from me lol but it would be a lovely fresh new start.
