Yeah, i know i will get there eventually, Just weird as all my "adult" years have been with him.

Sometimes i wish i wasn't such the settling down type but i know I always will be, its the cancerian in me too, like homely stuff.

Don't think you have been harsh its just he was someone i did imagine having the whole kit and kaboodle with, thought he was growing with me but he wasn't.

Hes 30 now and back in the same position he was when we met when he was 23, maybe he will never grow up, who knows.

l think sometimes you have to accept that you cannot change people, they have to want to change - and it sounds like he didn't want to

Yeah i know, just annoys me still that he quit the smoking "w"and is having more of a life now when thats what i wanted from him.

He said something that upset me a couple weeks ago, I said I wished he had quit the smoking for me (as I do believe it was a major issue in our relationship now i look back) as he had quit it now, he said that maybe he needed something big to happen to stop him and that if he didn't smoke as much we might not have been together so long, I should have been the thing that made him want to stop.

Also he should never have said to me that he wanted children if he never really did, thats the other thing, he still isn't saying never so its gonna hurt if he has a child with someone else.
