This might be cheeky, but i am yet to have a tesco clubcard, but will sign up if it means i make profit. So what do i actually have to do to benefit from all of this?

First have a browse to see if there is anything you would spend your points on http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/

If so then read all about it http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/clubcard/what.asp

    Also the credit card http://www.tescofinance.com/personal/finance/finance/creditcards/clubcc/index.jsp

Thanks to the regular MSE user who's posted on this perfume deal who was a Big help to me at the Tesco Edgbaston perfume section today! Sorry forgot your user name....
There's loads of Lanvin Oxygene for men, Benetton Hot (£13) and Cold, both £8 on the shelves there.
I converted £10 Clubcard vouchers to £20 fragrance voucher and got 2 Benetton Cold and 3 Brut deodorants. Paid £1.40 and got 1000 points back :)))))))) I'm so happy and thank you so much to all who posted info on this thread.

Am i missing something but surely £10 is £40 in deals so surely its best not to use them for 1000 points???

theres plenty of Benneton cold in tesco stratford-upon-avon. Well, there was yesterday. If they're not out on the shelves the assistants on pharmacy will get them for you.

This has already been discussed before on the Shop till you drop forum under the thread of Get paid £2 for spending £1.25 on marg plus other Tesco bonus points offers, but I wouldn't wish to rain on OP's parade.

Why don’t we put and end to all this squabbling and morality debate, and whether Martin should have advertised it or not.

The fact is we are all on this MSE forum, and for that fact this ‘Quick, Grab it While You Can’ section for the same reason – to grab a bargain. We all subscribe to his e-mail to be notified of such things. We trawl the threads to find those elusive bargains and if we find one, we try to take advantage of it. That’s what this whole section and Martin’s e-mail is about.

It’s a case of ‘you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours’ – by sharing the corporate knowledge of us all, we all find more bargains and ‘loopholes’ between us than if we operate alone.

With over 16500 views on this particular thread, it was fairly evident that this was a very hot deal and was going to go quickly. If there were loads of the items around and everyone got a share, I don’t think anyone would have complained. But when people don’t get a share and see others arguably taking more than a fair share – well, would they have done the same given half the chance? Sour grapes perhaps?

This same thing happens and the same moans and griping occur every time there is a ‘loophole’ exposed and people miss out. Let’s just be thankful for the website and the shared knowledge of the members and readership and fingers crossed that we can get in on the next deal.

No sour grapes here, this started two weeks ago and I was aware of it back then. I have bought 8 and am happy with this. My point is that Martin putting these things in his emails is self defeating. The usual result is the offer is pulled almost immediately (I am sure the emails get into Tesco HQ and set bells ringing, that doesn't necessarily happen when it is just posted on a forum).

Anyone who gets the email can read here and take advantage, so why the need for the big flagging up and the use of the word 'loophole' all the time??? Its not a loophole, its just a combination of a good points offer and the double up, neither of which are loopholes.

As I say, as per the spread, the offer will doubtless be pulled now and those who hoped to get a few more won't get them, and probably many of those getting the email will have wasted journeys.

    Yeah, great work Martin, not.

Why will Tesco pull the offer just because Martin used it in his weekly e-mail? I don't get it.

And why don't you lot want other people to know about it?

Because many paidtoshop regulars believe all Tesco deals are exclusively for their benefit?

Jennie not sure what u mean with the double up on c card and then double upagain on the cc+ card whats the diference ?
Ive not used the T money vouchers yet . Do you take the vouchers to c srevice first and ask them to change them for perfume vouchers so $10 gives you £20 to spend.
Do you get change on these on vouchers or points - if not take it you have to se whats in store first and add this up ?
Also does any perfume/aftershave with the extra points work out or do you have to do a special combo ?
Sorry for all the questions got a terrible headache and not really up to working all this out - will go first thing tomorrow if i can work this out  for any help
Yeah, this conuses me also. Can someone post an idiot guide for this please..i need it!

    I'm a happy chap today.

I took £20 of clubcard vouchers into Tesco Haslingden tonight, went first to the pharmacy, found the £8 oxygen fragrance, asked the assistant if they had 5 of them in stock, asked them to be put to one side for a few minutes, went to the customer service desk and doubled up the £20 clubcard vouchers into £40 fragrance vouchers, then returned to the pharmacy (to find the assistant talking about me to the store manager), where they did agree eventually to sell me 5 bottles (but marked my receipt "No Returns")
and I left with 2540 points and 5 bottles of fragrance

    :-)
