I suspect there might be a bit of a back lash over this one, due to availability and pricing, and if the armchair takers can't get it, they'll be really pi**ed off.

Yup which is why these sort of promotions should be left to the regulars who don't mind the disappointment if they don't find stock!

Another example is the margarine promo which appears to have been pulled before the end date, probably due to the mass email.

had a look in tesco copdock today, no oxygene aftershave only perfume at £14.50. Did however get 2 bottles of some Paris Hilton perfume which surprisingly smells quite nice for £10 each. Doubled up a £10.00 voucher so actual cost nothing and 840 points back. So 2 bottles of perfume for presents for a total of 160 points. Well happy with this. Didn't bother making a special trip earlier on the week as my local tesco never seems to have these deals available to quite happy to find something worth doing.

Just to get this straight. I did not commit fraud, I manipulated Tesco's policies to my advantage. I onlt got one lot of 5000 points for something I bought. And also it is a bit selfish to say that Martin should not put it in the e-mail. I love this site but cant beleive how spiteful people can be. I must learn to keep my good luck to myself in future. Happy shopping Also I should not worry about Mr Tesco his profits are safe and saying what I did will put prices up beggars belief. I went into the same store this morning and they have some of the Hot Benneton on offer for the wrong price of £13.00 INSTEAD OF £8.00. But I resisted the urge to buy some. If anybody wants to know where this is please pm me. Be interesting to see how many pm's I have

I think this sort of offer isn't sustainable by the supermarkets when it is advertised in this way. Isn't it better that 1000/1001 people take advantage of an offer rather than 1000/1,000,000?

In all stores i have visited benetton hot is correctly labelled at £13 - never seen it for £8, just the Cold at that price...

Would love it to be £8!!

Yes but you never bought them tesco actually paid you for them!!!!! as you got a £90 refund and a £65.00 refund (£155 after originally paying £145)then you got £200 worth of points for tesco deals.it was a very good day for you but as posters say earlier tesco need to recoup the losses on things like this from other customers eg higher prices:mad:
