  • get a grip people, getting personal over someone making a bit out of Tesco it a bit much don't you think. I'm sure you who are criticising live a perfect morally correct existence but it still is not up to you criticise other people.
  • Do you have to wait for the CC statement with vouchers or can you just waltz into store go to CS desk and present CC and ask for them to give x number of vouchers for smellies?

Yes I agree. I havent had an easy time these past few years and a little light relief at Tesco and Boots is one of my few pleasures. My DD tells people I have an addiction to special offers in Boots and Tesco but as she says is it hurting anyone? No it is not!

You need to have your clubcard vouchers, then you go to store ask for them to be doubled in value to spend on fragrances, they give you vouchers worth double the face value of your clubcard vouchers. You buy the perfume/aftershave and receive more points back than it cost you in points for your clubcard vouchers.

You can also pay £8 a bottle cash and receive 500 points.

hopefully someone can answer these two questions:

    1. when you buy the perfume, do the 500 points show on your reciept like they do for standard gorceries
(i ask because the only other tesco loophole i took advantage of was the one where you had to text and register for offers using an o2 or tesco mobile sim, and i had no end of problems getting those points. Instantanious confirmation of the points would be a relief after last time)

    2. I have a load of points on my card that i have gained since my last voucher statement, is there any way customer services can perhaps print something off? or do you have to wait for the vouchers to be posted?

    Thanks in advance

1 Yes, points will show on your receipt straight away

2 You should get a good idea of your total points from your receipt or you can look at your clubcard account at Tesco .com. CS cannot print detailed clubcard statements.

    SIMPLES!
  • Good Spot. Im might have to start shopping too.
  • DON'T BOTHER. Got the email at 7.20, in my local EXTRA store by 7.30, not a single fragrance for sale for less than £20. It's not just that they'd run out, there were just empty spaces with no labels on the shelves. Went three miles down the road to the next nearest EXTRA store, in by five to eight, exactly the same story. If you want a £30+ fragrance you may get 400 points but otherwise don't bother.

I have used this site and HotUKDeals for many years and have gained many good offers, promotions and loopholes all thanks to people making the effort to list them.

I have also taken advantage of many offers in the past that I didn't dare post on this website with the fear of people slagging me off.

In my opinion you have done nothing wrong and I am very happy for you in what you did :T

Good luck in your other problems
