Tesco Loophole on Aftershave and Perfume

I bought some Bennetton aftershave from Tesco Brockworth (Gloucester) next to work on Friday. It cost £8 but I earned an extra 500 clubcard points - worth £20 in deals therefore a nice £12 profit for me.

There were other perfumes and aftershaves ranging from £8 up to £15 which also had the extra points (either 400 or 500) so different profit to be had.

I plan to go back in and get a few more early stockfillers this week (sorry to mention Xmas in July!).

Hope this is ther ight place and not already posted (I did a search but could not see it). Could not see ther deal on Tesco website.

Can this deal get better by double-up on Tesco CC points, convert into perfume vouchers & get the 500 points? £4 for £5 to spend in store, or £10 to 'double up', or £20 in deals?

Edit: Ohhh! Glad my idea works! Do u reckon this could make the e-mail! I am an MSE obsessive & very excited!

I can confirm it can!! I've just been to tesco and doubled up 40.00 clubcard vouchers to 80.00 fragrance vouchers. I bought 10 of the Oxygene homme for 8.00 each and got 5000 clubcard points!!!

Therefore I spent 4000 clubcard points and got back 5000 points with 10 bottles of free aftershave - amazing. Don't know what to do with the 10 bottles - will probably give them away as they were completely free. I also got a 5p off fuel for spending 50.00 in store.

This deal only works on the fragrance that is 8.00 with 500 points.

did you pay for them all at once or did you have to split the transaction?

In one transaction. I did ask at the customer service desk (while I was in the process of doubling up my cc vouchers) if they had a maximum policy on how many of each item I could buy and he said only on selected items that are on offer. I said i intended to buy 10 bottles of the same aftershave and he said it would be fine.

It can be doubled up on CC credit card (above) but can it be doubled up on the CC+ Card- does anyone know?

i just been to my local and they didn't have any oxygen homme for £8.xx, so i brought the 2 x benetton hot for £13.xx & 2 x benetton cold for £8.xx and changed up £20 in clubcard vouchers so only had to pay £2 extra and got all my clubcard points back.
