i would write back to them stating everything again
and i know what you mean, no one should laugh at food safety and surely they have a duty of care to their customers, if it happens again maybe trading standards would be a better bet?'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0 -

So Tesco told you to stop whatever you were doing, drop everything and return to the store immediately? Rubbish.Gone ... or have I?0 -

Where did i say that they insisted i drop everything and stop what i was doing???!! : the context was related to a previous poster asking why i didn,t post it , freeze it ,etc so nae ,tis you who is talking rubbish and misinterpreting what i said...duh!!I,ve been here before0 -
Good god has everybody got out of the bed the wrong way today? Why can people not just give advice? Why do some people find it so difficult? I really do wish I was as perfect as some of the people on this thread.
OP - I would do as SUESMITH suggested and write again. And tell them you would like your taxi fair refunded because you were told they would be. Think happy & you'll be happy

Aahhh some sense and decency ..at last : i will do just that and also ask if they will do as promised they would in letting me know what the object is,etc. Yes it appears some here are too quick to judge and opinionate and if the shoe was on their foot ..well
i,m sure! I thought i had stumbled onto some sort of interrigation forum by mistake !!

Are you serious or was that irony?
Given who posted it I wouldn't have expected anything else!0 -
I think you may have phrased it badly, people dont like it when others decide that they must be entitled to 'compo' and tbh you didnt explain too well in the early posts that you were actually seeking reimbursment of costs incurred, when you had already been given the £5 voucher which is presumably the compensation for their mistake in allowing the product through to the store.
Although with the best will in the world, if you didnt spot the foreign object until you mixed the product how on earth they would have seen it and got rid of the product from the supply chain is beyond me.
Good luck with rewriting to them and fingers crossed the costs are reimbursed to you as you were told on the phone. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Just like most internet forums that start off looking very helpful and promising...... this site now attracts insulting morons who come on just to cause trouble. What a pity.... are there no moderators ? If so, suggest they get deleting and banning before this site is no more.Companies I have had problems with -
