Good Evening All,

Our thoughts are with you Mr and Mrs BHB.

I would like to share with you all my achievement for today, which may not seem much to many, but may touch a nerve with others... I have today held/survived a b.day party for 16 eleven year olds in my home for 3 hours .... AF free.. my helpers all had vino, but I had one cup of tea... I waited until all the kiddies went home, and my family arrived before having a glass.. to me that is an achievement that at the time I didn't even think about, but in the past I would have partaken in many a glass whilst hosting.. so :jto me...

Now i'm off to zzzzzzzzzzzz land as i'm feeling a wee bit tired..... xx

Thanks for posting Mrs BHB, our thoughts are wth you at this very sad time. My own father died, some years ago, from a sudden and massive heart attack. We take comfort from the fact that he didn't endure years of incapacity. Despite this, it is almost impossible to write any helpful words for you.

Lean on Andy, he loves you very much, and if you need a drink or two to help you along I certainly won't be critical. Maman x

Morning All

Thank you very much for all your kind words over the last couple of days. Not much sleep from anyone last night, and tears all round. To be expected, I know.

Guess we have to get ourselves together to sort out stuff over the next few days. Its a bit more difficult being so far away.

What Mrs BHB said does make you think...... Come on .... one big effort everyone.

We can do this.

I don't drink ..... AF Day 1 for me.

(Hope my AF stuff arrives back this morning :eek:)
