It's unlikely that I'll be posting much again after this but I just wanted to say thank you so much for all your hugs and love and words of support about my dad. You have no idea how much all of your kindness meant to me. Dad was probably the most relaxed and comfortable I have seen him in months, if not years and he is now not suffering.
Please please try not to drink too much, or smoke, as it all contributes to an end like this at too early an age.
Now if you can all keep supporting each other and my lovely husband that would be great.
Thank you again.
Love Mrs BHB
Hi Sweetheart,

Please do take care and we are all thinking of you.
I am so glad you have arrived home, God Bless.

I lost my dear old dad 16 years ago this year but I worshipped the ground he walked on and have remembered him everyday, I've forgotten the pain he suffered and just remember all the love he gave me, tears in my eyes now, I feel for you xxDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

I'm quite new to contributing to any type of on-line forum, but your message here is so heartfelt at such an emotional time, it actually made me cry. You are such a brave lady and your lovely husband cares so much ... big hugs to all your family xxxxxJuly AFD target 8 actual 110 -
Mrs BHB - thank you for posting, and we are all thinking about you at this sad time. Your post brought a tear to my eyes.
Budgie - thank you so much for your encouragement about the job interview. If I do get the job (or if not this one, then another cos I'm applying for others too) there will be some huge changes at home. I've been thinking about stopping freelancing for a very long time, but it's only now that I feel the family is ready for it. But it is very, very scary - especially at my age! Glad you seem to be feeling chatty again :j
GP - 60 miles shouldn't be too bad, I did the London to Brighton and Manchester to Blackpool (but that was 20 years ago ...) Cycling on the A6??? Be careful - footpath is safer on that road. I know that stretch from Hazel Grove to Disley very well.
69CHICK - I hope it isn't swine flu and that you feel better soon - look after yourself as much as you can
Night night everybody xx

Good evening everyone
MrsBHB - Thanks for posting. I'm so glad you are home safe and sound. (hugs)) to you and all your family
Budgie - you are so right. Having it in the house makes it so much harder - thankfully OH doesn't drink so no danger there for me
40sm - Love the kiddies and MJ. Bet that was so cute to see. Definately a proud mummy moment! Piglet doesn't sing or dance much but when he does it is SO funny!
PIR - am dying too see the new HP film but they make them so long I end up having to creep out of the cinema for a wee! I'll usually wait till they come out on DVD!
Eselt - So exciting about your new man! You will have to spill the beans. As budgie says, we have to vet him!;)
69 Chick - Oh I hope its not swine flu!! Take it easy (if thats possible with kiddies around). Lots of ((hugs))
Phew...that was almost a budgie-esque list!!:rotfl:
Jo - 17 for me please!
Had a lovely day today. Went swimming with OH and Piglet which was very enjoyable. That was followed by a picnic on the living room carpet (Piglet insisted!), followed by a nap. Then later on I visited my Nan. We chatted for nearly 2 hours! I don't often visit without piglet but sometimes, like today, its nice to as we can just relax and talk. I find my Nan fascinating and we could talk for hours!
All in all a good weekend. Hope everyone else had a nice one. More hugs to Andy and Mrs BHB ((hugs)). Hope you are all ok.
Miss P
