    Hi Guys, :hello:

    Just a quickie tonight ;)

Not been a great day to be honest, think I have a water infection as been trotting to the loo all day. Good job we have two toilets :rotfl:I will confess that I thought earlier to have a bottle of red wine  You will be pleased to know that I have not given in. Instead I have been on my organic ginger beer. Just shows though, if you keep it in, then it would be even harder to resist.

Still I have given myself a stern lecture, though disappointed I have not got to the gym.

So my Darling Jo I am now on 10 af days, phew. ;) and you are not on your own struggling this month. We are all here for the same reason you know ;) Even our Dear Members who have not drank in awhile, keep logging onto keep themselves focused and on track. So as our Lovely Gc and Ra says: "One day at a time, just decide not to drink for today" Worry about tomorrow when it comes. You are fab and I am glad your computer is sorted now, £25 now that is a bargain :D Hugs sweetie and lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Just so as we can vet him, well he will have to be special for our Lovely Eselt now won't he. Breakdown please asap. ;) But really we are all so pleased, it seems at last things are getting much, much brighter for you. :A A new job, a lovely new man :j as things happen in three's what will it be next? Or do you already know? ;) Hmm we shall wait to hear more. But Budgie is happy that you are at last having some much deserved happiness. Well done you, lots of love and hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Bhb just wanted to give you and your family another hug (((()))) I hope you are all managing, during this awful time. Please let us know how Mrs Bhb is and if she is coming home tonight? I am worried about her. Lots of love to you all. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

GP: might be doing that Manchester bike ride with you on 6 September!! I didn't know about it, thanks. :j

You from this neck of the woods I take it?

I don't have any sort of training plan in place so it's been niggling at the back of my mind that I'm really out of shape, and that I'm going to do 10 miles and have to stop for a rest and look like an idiot.

    So I went out for a ride tonight along a route I know to be exactly 15 miles...Wythenshawe--> Gatley--> Cheadle --> Stockport, join the A6 -->Hazel Grove--> High Lane--> Disley -->NewTown -->Furness Vale (I think).....

Done it there and back without stopping 30 miles in 2hours 10 minutes so I'm dead impressed with myself!!!!!!

I was a bit tired by the end of it though, so I want to try and do a big ride every other day, and maybe few shorter rides in between. I think I need to give my legs a bit of time between rides to recover. But I really don't think 60 miles is gong to be that much of a problem...

Hazel Grove to High Lane is a 3 mile (or so) slog up a constant hill and it's nightmare getting up there. Fantastic experience coming down though. Free wheeled all the way day going "WWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!"

    Hi to everyone,

It's unlikely that I'll be posting much again after this but I just wanted to say thank you so much for all your hugs and love and words of support about my dad. You have no idea how much all of your kindness meant to me. Dad was probably the most relaxed and comfortable I have seen him in months, if not years and he is now not suffering.
Please please try not to drink too much, or smoke, as it all contributes to an end like this at too early an age.
Now if you can all keep supporting each other and my lovely husband that would be great.
    Thank you again.
    Love Mrs BHB

And to Eselt. It's lovely to hear your good news. Good luck. Tomorrow is 10 years since mine and BHB's first date and just take a look at us two. Apart from the obvious we are happy and a team.
