OMG, I LOVE Derren Brown - absolute genius!!
He's one man I think is utterly irresistible! But we're both gay, so that puts the kaibosh on that, ha haaaaaaaa! :rotfl:
I think he's tricked my mind........
Can't wait for The Events, over the next 4 Fridays......... SOOOO excited! Have you seen the adverts he's done for The Events, where lots of weird things are going on, but you don't really notice unless you really look out for them (the "backwards" ad being a prime example)??
Hugs,

Cazza - I find him very interesting but rarely get to see any of his stuff as my OH finds him disturbing and refuses to watch with me. Any idea what sort of things he has got planned?AF since 06/02/20100

He's been working on 4 events that are coming up (inc the lottery event) for the last year. I CANNOT WAIT!!
Here's a link to a video of him talking about what's going to be on, but it's basically, the lottery prediction, a couple of psychic experiments where we can all participate (including psychic spy stuff and something about us getting stuck to our sofas) and then a casino heist.........woo woooooo!

Sounds like compulsive viewing, but just watching Derren is enough for me, the fact he does amazing stuff too is a bonus. yum yum.

Sounds very interesting. Definately up for anything that involves home participation as i'm very sceptical about everything but love it when i'm proved wrong (If that makes sense!?).AF since 06/02/20100

Feeling pretty good at the moment, but trying to be wary in case get caught out over the weekend during couple of unavoidable high-risk situations (am worried that current optimism might let me drop my guard).Sick and tired of waking up sick and tired...

Had 3 glasses of red wine last night, after OH finally bolted for the offie.
He has 3 cans of stella in the fridge too so assume he will be caning those when he gets in. But felt good to go for 4 days without. I shall persevere!

I caught the Derren Brown programme last night - fascinating! Well, I'm going to try and watch it tomorrow to see how he did it. Part of me thinks, though, that I'll be a bit disappointed with what he says...
On the booze front, well, I've been rather pleased with my progress so far: 7/20. Think this has been a tad premature though. I REALLY, REALLY fancy a drink tonight. Aargh. Not sure whether I should relax my rules a bit and have a booze free Fri or Sat... Am I silly to be so rigid??Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Afternoon Everyone.....what a lovely sunny day too.
Just realised today that resisting the temptation to buy a bottle of wine is making me stronger in the resisting chocolate too!! Maybe its just that I always craved a piece of chocolate when I drank red wine....therefore no wine = no chocolate either!! whoohoo!
Hmmm not lost any weight yet though!

Angie, I think I may have to have a bit of chocolate tonight as I feel quite wobbly about being Alcohol Free. It's only my fourth consecutive day Af and already I feel like I'm in a desert. It surely cannot be so hard to resist I tell myself but I do really feel 'tight' right now and would love to unwind with a glass of wine. It's that strength of feeling that worries me - OK, so I might stop after a glass, or two but the fact that I so want a drink is surely not good.
Anyway, have a littl'un to pop into bed so I'll catch up later.Trying to keep in budget.
