    Hi all!

Not been good 01-07 September! No excuses, other 1/2 is fine & will be working soon...just HABIT...no strong cravings.

DAY ONE for me today! Want at least 10 days in a row...!

Don't enjoy it at all apart form 1st 'hit' so to speak....also getting that familiar 'tense/stressed' feeling in the day (high BP again!).

Also last night had a very bad gout attack (last one a week/10 days ago went in only 3 days with help of herbal tablets, etc)....VERY VERY painfull but took 4 cats claw tablets, 2 celery seed tablets, some conc. cherry juice & vit c...GONE this am.

Reason for the gout? Elavated Uric acid levels crystalising when saturated in blood on joints. Reason for elavated levels? TO MUCH ALCOHOL!

I'm getting there in my own way & learning the lessons....it for me is more habit than mad mad cravings!

As I've said before...once I get day one done its fairly easy for me!

    Hope everyone else is ok!

    Morning all

Maman, this is quite bizarre as I text practically the same thing to Fay about 3 hours before you post it  I have decided like yourself, to get myself a new hobby, a little like your walking but shan't do that as peering into peoples windows in London is not a good thing  I really, really, really, want to try wall climbing, but the nearest one is miles away and it costs a fortune (comparable to my budget :o).

    xx

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I thought we regularly climbed up the walls on here!!

Morning all, have a good day.
  • Hello

PIR~hope you enjoy today more in your new job. I was the same when I first started here. Still don't like it much 4 years on!

Budget Babe~I'm hoping I can focus on being a bit more positive just like you are doing :A

Jo~well done on a week AF. Wish I could say the same for myself :o

I wasn't AF last night. Got stuck into the leftover Rose wine in the fridge. I had one glass which was very quickly followed by another. Mr FH made tea and I sat at the computer with a refilled glass. Feel a bit carp today with a bit of a head on me.

I would really like a hobby too. One that doesn't involve sitting around so much. I really need to lose around 10lbs to take me back to the weight I am comfortable at. Quitting the wine and doing some exercise would get me there in a month. But I can't get myself motivated.

    Off to do some work

    Much love X
    Need to start again :o

    :)

If only you were near enough to get a load - don't supposed you'd consider [STRIKE]a delivery[/STRIKE] holiday in the frozen north :)

Anything under 300 a tonne is cheaper than here :)

Chaos is the natural state of the world - second law of physics or thermodynamics (I forget) is:- entropy - everything always reverts to its natural chaotic state:rotfl:
