Morning all
Stroppy, congrats on the AF and good luck to your DS for tomorrow!! I forgot how scary that is (for the parent ). My DD2 doesn't go back till next week, she starts reception and she's also got the 1.5 hour a day for the first week, then 2 hours a day for the next week then 2 hours plus an early lunch the week after then a whole day palarva  She is also asking constantly when is she gonna get to go to school and eat her packed lunch :rotfl: (unfortunately not till October ), it's all about settling the children in, I've got one of those that will run in and not turn back to wave! It irritates me, cos I think they're are giving the kids an excuse to be sensitive and mollycoddeled (sp?), we all got chucked in at the deep end and it didn't do us any harm (). Hope it goes okay x
HB, don't beat yourself up about getting 2 days in so far this month, you are a cutter downer not a quitter, am I right? Plenty of days to fit your target in, just try not to cram them all in at the end and have a little more control over when you want to 'spend' your drinking days if that will make you feel better? Some people only drink on weekends for example.
FH, glad the party went well yesterday x
Caz, so glad you had a good day yesterday and the bells didn't toll (I kept them tolling here as not to bother you), I'm with you and Fay on the cooking front and definately with you on the organisation, I hate last minute panics which is what I am usually in! Good luck for Friday, why not be honest with people
x
115K & WBF, I'm sorry you are both feeling a bit carp, hope the sun starts to shine for you both soon
Here's me sat here lesuirely posting and talking about hating last minute panics and, HAVE YOU SEEN THE TIME  oh my god gotta run, gotta be at childminders at 7.45am and got 2 kids sat here still in pjs watching telly (least I was organised and already laid clothes out last night

Morning
BHB, hope all is okay, must have been some shock to all concerned.
BB, happiness, thats a deep one. I'd love to answer you but fear it would be a very selfish post.
Cazz all sounds goodI too love cooking, anyone see Come Dine With Me last night. Sure it was a repeat but do some people have no tact ? With or without alcohol.
Bells were tolling after dinner last night, rhubarb crumble and cold custard silenced them for a while. Was a hard one though.

Baby steps eh?2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -
WBF - hugs me dear - want to join me in an AFMonday tonight? We can hold each ohters virtual hands?
Anyone else of course welcome - Morning Jo - don't worry my DD is exactly the same - she's really independant
......and we went back to school weeks and weeks ago
Rubbish nights sleep so read BB book and tidied my bedroom (I have folks coming to stay next week - lovely folk, normally put them in the 'posh' room - but as its full of a german student and a million books they wont fit and have to slum it in my room) - hence the tidy up.
Well done JoJoB - baby steps indeed

Got through 5 bottles of wine and 12 beers over the weekend (including Friday night so not so bad).
Dry day today, but away with clients for the rest of the week, which means no dry days I suspect.
Will get back on track next week.Like all revolutions, guerrilla goodness begins slowly, with a single act. Let it be yours.

Morning everyone :hello: Just been catching up with the thread as
I don't have internet access at home! Like some of you have been mentioning, I too am finding that although i'm sleeping very well, I am feeling a bit groggy in the mornings - hopefully this will pass soon. I have been replacing the wine with Sains diet Indian tonic water with lime and adding slice of lemon and lime. It seems to be working ok and at only 45p a bottle and hardly any calories has to be a good alternative. I do
feel less bloated!
YM pls put me down for 6 AFD :j0 -

That's about 60 units and 4000 calories.
I would think that any more than the government guidelines is too much0 -

Graeme - I didn't say it was acceptable - but in context, "not so bad".
I still intend to lower my intake, and have been (quite significantly), publishing everything I have on here is my way of publicly motivating myself.Like all revolutions, guerrilla goodness begins slowly, with a single act. Let it be yours.
