I think he is lapping up the attention his girlfriend is giving him .......
More worried about you budgie ...... what can we do to help ?
Now, if you pick up Darwin ... how about camping on our field with the turkeys and ducks .... not exactly by the sea, but very very relaxing .... only 8 miles to the beach ....
You are such a lovely person, I wish we could help make you feel better .....

I hope your DS is OK, BHB. Must have been a horrible shock for you. I do detest driving and now DD1 is driving, it's another worry. I hope he feels completely better soon. BTW, Mrs Wideload was pretty hilarious the other evening when you were in a sulk about your lack of computer!!
BB: your Sea poem is beautiful, I really understand what you mean by how free you feel by the sea. And thanks for your encouragement. Fay, you are so lucky living so near to the sea!!
Jo: sorry you're having a bad evening - it's the back to school blues. Well done for not giving into any bells!
Honeybear: tut tut ... a bit rich coming from me when I was on the organic vino last night!!!
Where's Miss Piggy and Piglet?

You are so lucky as you and Mrs Bhb seem so together. I always used to be with my DH but now
Things are difficult and I am so not a quitter, I just have to find my own pathway and that as our Darling Fay says will make all of the difference?

Hi,
Wasn't able to get online over the weekend so just been catching up on all the posts for the past wee while.
Jo - sorry to hear your sad news, thinking of you.
BHB - glad to hear your son's going to be ok - what a shock it must have been to get the news.
PIR - very best of luck for your 1st day tomorrow.
Budgie - thinking of you. What a difficult period. Hope you have time and space to work out what's right for you.
xx
ETA - BB, missed X Factor last night so will be watching it online - prob tomorrow night. xx0 -
Oh my goodness, where to start!
BHB~what a shock for you all, but glad to hear he is okay ((hugs))
Budgie~my dear budgie. Your thought provoking posts do my head in!!!In a good way. But tonight isn't the night for such questions, "Are you happy?" My answer....not sure.
Had a lovely birthday party for DS2 today. Seriously a fantastic afternoonHe was the star of the show and had everyone smiling. My Auntie came, the one I have spoken about, and as always she had the usual effect on me. It's all so strange. Thing is, I know it will come across REALLY weird, but I love her. I've always idolised her. I love her life, I want to be her. It all sounds ridiculous coming from a 36 year old. But she's everything that I would want to be.

Kind of like that, but not really. I think it's partly because she was the first one to come up to me at my dads funeral and tell it how it was. I remember word for word what she said to me and it was so wise. She just knew how to make me feel better. Everyone always says how much I look like her and I love that people think that because in my eyes she is beautiful. I realise all this sounds plain silly. But it is weird the connection I have with her. Thankfully, she has expressed the same fondness for me
I'm AF tonight but not last night.
5 AF please YM.
Off to bed. Work tomorrow. Boo Hoo!Need to start again0 -
