Good morning everyone
Sorry for me wittering on last night. I'll be like this for the whole week now  Reflective and day dreaming mostly. When I had just turned 18 and left school I spent two months living with my Aunt in America. When I came home, my mum was so happy to see me. But she took one look at my face and knew that I wasn't so happy to be home to see her :rotfl:Seriously, I absolutely hated being back here. I sunk into a horrible depressed mood and couldn't face up to the reality of my life. I think when I see her now, I'm reminded of that horrible time. Even though my life is full of things that I should be thankful for and most importantly I have two gorgeous children, I still remember that two months being the best time of my whole life.
See? Wittering again. I suppose what I'm saying is that I want to have that feeling again.
Budgie~hope you are okay today ((hugs)) Maybe we can both find joy in something today X
Jo~well done on your AF days :T
WBF~It isn't easy is it? ((hugs)) There's a few of us wallowing here, so no need to be alone. Maybe sharing here and getting it all out, so to speak, will help.
Well, I'm off to do some work. Going to plan my family trip to America in 2013 in my lunch break to make me feel happier:rotfl:Need to start again0 -
Had an AF free day yesterday and feel much better for it this morning. Got to get our bedroom decorated so don't want to be hung over. Im hoping we can get the walls painted today so that we can get the wardrobes back into place (OH has got the week off). They are all in the middle of the room at the moment and we can't move in there!
Ive read back on all the threads but haven't got time to reply to each and everyone personally. Best wishes for everyone struggling though.0 -
Morning all,
Well Kids now back at school and I am now sat here at my desk @ work. Was really pleased with myself this morning ... got the Kids to school EARLY and without any fighting or arguing . Believe me , that is a result.
Anyway, my happiness shortlived. I found out that one of the little children form our schools pre-school as died. I don't know who or what the circumstances are yet but I am now in bits. I was frantically scanning the playground for little faces , fearing that someone may be missing.
Crying now.

Morning all,
YM please add one more AFD to my total - I think that makes me 5 days AF up to now. Today will be my 6th - should be successful AF as I have an AA meeting tonight!!
Different Corner, I LOVE Come Dine with Me. I have to tape them, as OH hates it and can't even be in the same room when it's on - she can't stand the contestants! I watched the one this weekend, based in London - is that the one you are referring to?? It was hilarious - especially the last night where that food writer was cooking - that was pure comedy. The awful PR woman was soooo up her own jacksy and that stickoid Hugo chap were both incredibly vile. They were so rude about that lovely Iranian woman, about her weight - she wasn't even that big! Just goes to show that ajust because you look and talk posh and have a bit of money, it does not mean you have class or manners. They were both repulsive.
Anyway.......... that will mean nothing to those of you who haven't seen that particular Come Dine with Me, so I will shut up now!! Sorry
Have a great day everyone. Not so sunny today, but the sun's still up there somewhere, smiling down on us - don't forget that :A
Hugs

What a lovely line budget babe.....I might print it out and stick it up on my sedk somewhere - anything to help get through a grey Monday... (with a hangover)
Had 2 cocktails and 2 glasses of wine last night and was absolutely zonked....my tolerance for alcohol is shot to bits and I used to be able to drink loads (not something to boast about I know..)
So today is another day......love and strength to all x0 -
Marylin (sp?), please please what was your secret when losing weight? I have on and off tried to get rid off one and a half stone but obviously I am not putting my mind to it as it is not shifting.
Hi Marru - I did a diet / plan called LighterLife - its got some bad press and some good but all I can say is that it worked for me....10 months lost 8 stone - have put about a stone back on now (mainly through making up for the 10 months without booze) but I'm working on it :T
if you want to know more about it drop me a PM and I'll gladly try to help.0 -
Cazza - I love come dine with me!!!
40SM - Deeply sorry to hear that.
