Morning all

Bhb. Sorry to hear about your sons accident. At least cars are replacable and he is safe.
40SM...How awfull and so young. Makes you weep.
Budgie...I have a bone to pick with you...
3:30 this morning I awoke and was asking myself am I happy ?. I came to the conclusion that I am but do not realise it. I have a home , lovely family, a job and ( relativly ) good health. Needed a gentle nudge to remind me what I have and as Joni Mitchell sang " You dont know what you got till its gone".
Thanks for reminding myself to appreciate what I have Budgie :T.
I must have fallen asleep then because I started to think about tidyness and Brazillians  and not the people from South America!!!!!! that was about I do not know :rotfl:
House to myself kids back at school :j
Have a great day everyone and I will be AF today0 -
Morning all
I'm finding it so hard to keep up with the thread lately so I apologise if I've missed anything important!
40sm - thats awful about the child. ((hugs))
Cazza - I love Come Dine With Me too. I watched one last night with some stuck up bloke. He hunted deer for a living and was critical of EVERYTHING they all cooked. But they were all quite polite back - think I'd have just clobbered him on!!:rotfl:
Budgie - Big ((hugs)) to you. And Piglet sends you an extra special ((hug)) with slobbery kiss thrown in for good measure.
YM - Ahh, can identify with the middle of the night life evaluation. I do it quite often! And, like you, I come to the conclusion that I LIKE my life! Yeah, there are days when I whinge and moan but, to be honest, I wouldn't change much. Sometimes we are all far too hard on ourselves and we should just let things be. By the way I'm on 5 please!
Had a nice weekend. Both OH and I were pretty broke so had to find free things to do with kids. Hence lots of board games etc. Think they had a good time though.
Had a nice time at my brothers on Saturday. Wine was offered but I declined:j. Can't say as I do THAT very often!!:rotfl:

A joke to cheer us up
A guy is 72 years old and loves to fish. He was sitting in his boat the other day when he heard a voice say, 'Pick me up.'He looked around and couldn't see anyone He thought he was dreaming when he heard the voice say a gain,'Pick me up.'
He looked in the water and there, floating on the top, was a frog.
The man said, 'Are you talking to me?'
The frog said, 'Yes, I'm talking to you. Pick me up then, kiss me and I'll turn into the most beautiful woman you have ever seen.
I'll make sure that all your friends are envious and jealous because I will be your bride!'
The man looked at the frog for a short time, reached over, picked it up carefully, and placed it in his front breast pocket.
Then the frog said, 'What, are you nuts? Didn't you hear what I said? I said kiss me and I will be your beautiful bride.'
He opened his pocket, looked at the frog and said,
'Nah, at my age I'd rather have a talking frog.'DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

Miss P -ooh was that the Come Dine with Me where the posh deer hunting bloke criticised the italian dishes cooked by the Italian man!! And he confessed that none of his friends invite him to dinner because he's so rude about their food, but he still continues to be offensive? I did love that Italian man, he can come round to mine any time! He was so softly spoken and did not lose his cool in the face of someone being extremely rude to him - a true Gent!
On the point of alcohol actually, the episode when the rude deer bloke hosted his own dinner party, one of the female guests got absolutely paraletic. She was really loud, talking utter carp, swaying all over the place and being very rude herself. It was awful to watch, but seeing things like that are a great reminder of how embarrassing and pathetic we can get when we get out of our heads drunk.
Miss P - amazing for resisting the wine too - well done!!! :T
