Morning all!

Everyone have a :grouphug:to get us going (if you know what I mean!:rotfl:) this morning!

Thanks everyone for the sympathies re in-laws. Now if someone could go and poke them in the eye I would be most grateful!:rotfl::rotfl:What makes me laugh is they are both BIG people and I have never once commented on their size. My poor OH really suffers - he trys so hard with them but his brother who only turns up on birthdays is the sainted one in the family. Mind you, HIS wife refuses to go in the house - always waits in the car. I used to think she was odd but I think now she has the right idea!

GC - you're right. I woke up the next morning feeling pleased with myself. Its scary how certain things can make you want to run headlong into a bottle. I now know to avoid my in-laws....what a great outcome from not drinking!:rotfl::T

FUAS - hope all goes ok today. ((hugs))

Fay - hope you are ok. Must be so hard with the kids away. I know that even on the days when Piglet has been a nightmare, I'm always keen to get home from work to see him before he goes to bed. Can't imagine him not being there for 5 weeks!:eek: Lots of ((hugs)) being sent your way. Have duly noted your target for August so theres no going back now!;)

40SM - thank you for those lovely words. I happen to LIKE myself at the moment (and that doesn't happen very often - always preoccupied with my weight!). If they don't like it then thats their problem isn't it?

Maman - makes you wonder why we put up with these people doesn't it? Mind you, you got shot of yours you lucky thing!! Divorce seems so drastic though....:rotfl::rotfl:;)

Budgie - you must let us know the date of your 25th anniversary!! Silver isn't it?

Anyway, best get off. Have lots of washing and ironing to do. We scrabbled enough money together yesterday to take the kids swimming - the stepkids managed to persuade me to go Domebusting (big scary slides) and my stepdaughter laughed hysterically at me screaming all the way down. Kids!;) So lots of towels to dry today. And its tipping down...doh!!

Morning all - Miss P - hugs and um yeah when the children arrive back remind me I missed them as within 5 mins there is normally a huge fight

Inlaws - told you before lick the teaspoorn before you make their tea or coffee and drop a few sugar lunmps on the floor - and then add them to the coffee or tea.

Onwards to the land of Shetland today - its gorgeous here so hoping shetland will be OK for oodles of hours of field work.

Going with my normal boss today - but I am working as a consultant - so that makes me the boss - eh? He he he - he's my slave today.

Group hug later from Lerwick - is there an ETA for a collective raising of the coffee cups/juice cups etc? Will try log on from internet if I get a chance to - but taking my lovely phone so hoping that will be OK............

Good luck to MP with the weigh-in and well done to Miss P and PiR for not drinking when the out-laws were being so awful.

I have drunk too much each of the last 3 days.

I've hurt my back falling asleep on the sofa after too much wine so feeling dreadful today.
