Happy Group Hug day everyone

Feeling sad right now as I've just dropped DD1 round to her boyfriends where they are off to Espana for a week this afternoon with his family. They are loaded and have their own house out there near the border of Portugal. On the MSE front, the trip is costing her NOTHING :beer: they even insisted on paying for the flights even though I tried to make them take the money, they said that the tickets had already been paid for I said I'd reimburse, but no they refused, wouldn't even let me give them money for her food. She's landed on her feet there me thinks

So, just got back DD1'less and house feels quiet even though it's the other 2 that make all the noise :rotfl:

Congrats to PIR for an AF night, I can't believe they didnt congratulate you on getting the job!!

Speak to you all later, gotta have a tidy round as the place is full of clothes after DD1 packing :rolleyes:

I have been in a very reflective mood today and I really did not want to go to work I never have time off, I last had 2 days sick in 07. So I have concluded that I think I am a little depressed? Not been a good year with one thing and another, I think the awful holiday was the nail in the coffin so to speak. Different worries have perhaps got to me more that I thought? By realising this I oddly feel more in control. so I shall aim to stay af and I will see how it goes. I drank last night and I didn't really want to but did anyway I guess it is true that old habits are hard to break.

So Miss P looks like I shall be back on track in August. It is the threat of that naughty step, I really don't want to be permanently stuck on that now do I? Hugs (((()))) to you and our Adorable Piglet. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks Budgie... even if just one person who wouldn't have been AF today achieves it then its been a success... once a month, fantastic idea. xx

I hope everybody taking part in the group AFD is doing well and well done everybody :j

Jo: sounds as though your DD1 has a lovely boyfriend and his parents obviously recognise what a lovely person she is, and that's why they are so happy to take her with them on holiday and to pay for everything. So well done you on having such a lovely daughter :T

As I had told myself I would last night, I felt very proud this morning to have resisted the super-spritzer-urge after the trip to the outlaws' house. Thanks to everybody for your support and for telling us about your own horrendous outlaw tales!! And Miss Piggy, I remember when you had your picture as your Avatar and you are no way a big girl!!

Better get on. Going to London for the day with the 3 DDs on Wednesday (the last day of my Railcard, so making the most of it). Anybody know of any good exhibitions or anything which 3 trendy teenagers would like to see (ages 17, 15 and 13)?? They love going to Camden, but don't know if the market will be there on a Wednesday???
