  • GC - once again, nearly reduced me to tears!!! I totally get what you're saying and you are completely right (as usual!). Yes, I used to drink when feeling resentful and hurt. But I am trying not to do that. Trying to introduce new behaviours....when I'm p**sed off I take myself away from things. Whether its out for a walk or up the stairs to the bath. Seems to be working, touch wood. Evaluated a LOT of things lately and yes, Piglet is the most important thing in my life and I WILL NOT do anything that jeopardises my relationship with him. Plus I think my own self-confidence is playing a huge part in my drinking. When I lost a lot of weight I was outgoing and cheerful, not needing drink to bring me out of myself. Need to get that way again. Thanks so much for your input - its always welcome.

Jo - thats my fave Xmas song!!! Love it, even when they play it over and over on the music channels! Oh, and why not make crimbo cakes now? I'm making mini ones for my brother and SIL and my Nan.

    Miss P
    xx

Inspired by BB basket she sent me with lots of little bits in - I am doing baskets for my family - not sure if they will work - but BB one was awesome and I loved it.

EG for my Brother who loves fishing, lions (long story), chocolate bikkies and coffee.

Fisherman hand pocket warmer thing (£1)
Lion silly keyring and fridge magnets (? pennies)
Stashing a few packs choccie bikkies (in date) when I remember
Got a silly fish teapot stand from charity shop (new 50p)
Fish mug (given from a chum)
    Fish socks (50p)
    Fresh coffee (ikea - £1 a bag)
Getting a print of a 'dog fish' he caught in a second hand frame (?)
Basket 50p from a pound shop place
Also got a few BOGOF'S on lynx shower gel and deoderant when on offer (cos he loves that too so one for him and one for OH or DS) much cheaper than the box sets and looks nice in his mini-hamper thingmy.

Will do up with nice cellophane or just wrap up :)

Stolen the idea entirely from BB - :D:D:D will look ace and costs about £5ish

Also chucking in choccie bars or those 3 for £1 sweeties everytime in Mr T which is adding to my stash at home for stockings etc for kiddietwinkles

    Ooh Fay,

I must really get my thinking cap on for my mum & dad as I NEVER know what to get them.

Ok, I was going to start blubbing, then looked round in time to catch Piglet putting chocolate fingers in his jam sandwich and eating it :rotfl:. Bleugh!
