I used to feel restless, irritable and just discontent a lot of the time.
Either fed up or angry, and I could never pinpoint the cause. A drink could relieve that feeling in the short term, though it would always return.

That shows you that alcohol isn't the main issue here, but life is the problem. Sort your life out and then the desire to drink is gone as you don't feel like that any more
Yes thats true, although I have never thought about it like that before.

Happily AF today, in fact its nice to have a break from it.. IYSWIM... have been on treadmill, no bells today, but I know the old trick and i'm sure they will be jangling tomorrow.. shall put my ear plugs in...:D

Exactly how I feel, I didn't put it as well as this!! Almost a relief not to be drinking (so why.......same old same old...)

OH & I have pub lunch tomorrow  sabotaging diet so soon! (this partic pub, smashing food but impossible to find a "slimming" option & I am v bad at leaving food on my plate). But the good thing is they only sell coke by the pint - OH will nag me to have a drink but I quite often say I don't want wine cos I'm too thirsty so I'll have a coke first, & the good thing about it being a huge glass is I can never get thro it!

Then as an extra challenge I have to buy wine in sainsbugs :eek: to replace the one I "borrowed" from my neighbour yesterday. I'm going to buy, not a naff one but one I personally am not keen on; I think he only keeps it there for me anyway he's not really into wine, so he wouldn't care what it is & it might put me off scrounging off him again!

Just gonna make big mug of strong tea & then settle down to Eastenders & Holby (won't need to tape it tonight to watch tomorrow cos I've fallen asleep / forgotten what happened :o).

Then to bed with a book, got one to finish before I start on Marian Keyes. Ooer, back to packed lunches too.

    I'm wittering......ym well done :T:T on 16 days, fabbo.

Please put me down for 1! Loving the avvie; I want contacts like that!
