Hi Shoppy - well done! Grand name, & biiiig baby! ooch. Hope you're all well.

I'm through my danger time, if I'm gonna start I start early. Bit like marru am wearing stuff I don't wish my public to see me in & am not tempted anyway. If I could get my jeans done up I'd be wearing them, but.....:o I'm really struggling to get into anything apart from my nightie :rotfl:which doesn't suit as office wear (but, Jo, it does have a giraffe on! & on the back is the back of the giraffe, iyswim).

I'm only not tempted cos it's Day 1; I know I'm pretty much at the last-chance-saloon cos no excuses WHATSOEVER to put this off any more such as birthdays, holidays. It's JFDI time. The temptation will come in a day or so, might be a few days, might be tomorrow, that "oh I've earned / deserve / need a drink & I've been good" thing.

I'm starving! Got my super-healthy-low-cal dinner in the oven. I always eat early too :D. So much goes to waste (waist :rotfl:) when I'm drinking - had an apple off the tree today - deelicious - but there are dozens rotting on the ground. And as for the putrid spinach at the back of the fridge - yeuch! I never skip meals when I'm drinking but they become less healthy than usual.

Anyways, off for some scoff now. Toms & runners also from garden, & one broad bean. Soo you later - be strong.

    Hi Catzpawz

Forgot to say (or rather, confess). the worst thing about August & af-ness wasn't the small number of afd's I had, it was the amount I drank on every other day. Not one day was sensible or moderate drinking, so goodness knows how my system is going to react to the sudden deprivation. Hopefully by losing half a stone in a week (I wish). tum rumbling....
