OK Question - how many of us have NO alcohol in the house today?
I don't know if there is alcohol in my house apart from a bottle of an undrinkable holiday purchase:eek:, because I haven't looked in the bit where the wine lives. Any that is there is OHs.
I may sound really stupid but it was only a few weeks before I stopped drinking completely that I finally twigged that having large quantitites of wine delivered regularly courtesy of Tesco was not helping me cut down. My first big light bulb moment was realising that if I didn't have the wine in the house I would have to go out and get some (and am a very lazy person:rolleyes:).
Too many pages to catch up on, but best wishes to all, especially those who are struggling a bit. It sounds so easy to stop or cut down until you try and find out what a hold alcohol has. It took me years to get to the point of tackling it properly so am well impressed by all of you.0 -
Just got off the phone with Mr FH :jPersonnel phoned him and said it was just a timing issue and that he didn't get the proper salary because it wasn't approved on time. But it's approved now and he'll get it backdated in his next pay.
He has asked if he can get a payment made to him sooner, but not sure that will happen. Thing is, we don't trust them until we can see the evidence. He's asked for the details in writing though and she is sending him through an e-mail.
We'll wait to see if that happens, but are now quietly confident that everything is going to be okay. Phew!!!
Thanks for all the support guys. It must have worked (((hugs)))
Much love XNeed to start again0 -
