    Morning all :)

There are quite a few peeps that haven't updated me on their numbers, some that have been AWOL most of the month too. Please come and update me, even if you've been naughty :rotfl:

Lurky, where the devil are ya

    PIR, newjob-1.gif

I couldn't get hold of the counsellor people yesterday, phone was engaged ALL day!! Then it finally rang at 5.01pm and went to night service

Nevermind, not beating myself up. Did drink last night but didn't drink everything I'd bought which is a first. Am going out with OH tonight with some friends to a comedy club, we've not been out together without the kids for years, literally years so I will be drinking but will stay sensible and will have to sort my life out in the morning.

I definately need to get myself sorted for the :grouphug: on Monday.

    xx

  • Hi everybody :hello:

Thanks for all the congrats. Thanks for the pic, Jo! Have a really good time tonight, Jo, you deserve a great night out with Mr Jo.

I'm going to be AF tonight, so I look OK and have my wits about me to go to see scary MIL tomorrow, and be able to deal with the inevitable nasty comments

  • Hello
Maman - he lives in central scotland - sometimes he drives (4-5 hours) and a ferry and sometimes he flies 1.10 min flight

We met when I lived in Orkney before, then I moved down to do my masters and 'give it a go' so we lived together for 3 years and I found I couldnt reconcile my life with the life he had so I had to move back to the island for the sake of kids sanity and my sanity so neow we have done the commuting thing for 3 years - not fair on him I guess - but the alternative wasn't working for me.

Waves to you all - BHB sorry about the rellies - people are so odd when my granpa died I got the offer of the house, I took 3 of his favourite hats, 3 pairs of socks, and his old gardening jacket and a tartan shirt and his rucksack.

I wear them all now and again, the kids play with the hats and I wear his socks sometimes to feel brave - i use his bag most days and feel he is with me.

I love gardening in his old smelly waistcoat - its like he's with me. Always.

Not anohter AFD for me - out and had alternate soft drinks which seemed to work as we only had a couple of drinks.

    Waves to you all

Enjoy the comedy club Jo- and will help you make that Cake!!
