Just about to leave work now, no more get ups for 5 1/2 weeks :j

This time last year, I left here and gave up alcohol and managed AF all summer holidays, lets see if I can do it again :)

Off to take my mum to the hairdressers now, then Mr T's then shoot home driving wildly past the offy(ies) and screaming at the top of my voice with my fingers in my ears, probably have to steer with my knees

Hugs to any that need them, I'll speak to you all later. xx

    Much love X

FH - no apology needed ! It was also a gentle reminder that I still have a lot to be thankful for :)

Disappear for a day or two ......and ........ :D

    Afternoon all :hello:

Not AF yesterday or today I'm afraid. BUt will soon jump on again.

I helped clear out FIL's shed yesterday. Everyone called him Gadget Man. Anything mechanical, electrical or electronic, he probably had it. Well he probably had 4 different versions of it !!! 3 transit loads later, we are about half way through. As I type Mrs BHB is playing with his slide projector, with a tear in her eye.

Still all a bit in turmoil here, no death certificate yet due to the post mortem, but still waiting as we have yet to organise the funeral.

Have learnt over the last couple of days that for some people money is more important than family. ....Vultures circling ....
Very complicated estate to sort, but in summary - the lady FIL was living with's family were pricing up the £18000 caravanette for sale and finding a buyer the day after he lost his life, the whole family grabbing stuff for sale to make some cash, computers being sold, digital cameras etc. being taken.
And the thing is Mrs BHB and her brother are supposed to be sorting out the estate as 'officially' they were not cohabiting but just sharing a house, and they are the the ones supposed to be dealing with it. Its all gone a bit aggressive and nasty.

All very stress inducing for poor Mrs BHB, who, I have to say, is AF so far today ....:T
Alas I have succumbed to the beer can and have just opened the first of the day :o.
Don't worry - only have a couple of cans ;)

Also just wanted to say how much I appreciate this thread :D
You are all always here, thank you.

    xx

    Andy

PS. As for 5 weeks off work Jo ......... GGRRRRRRRR :mad: :D
:) Embrace your inner Hillbilly :)
  • Evening all.... bends at knees, policeman stylee....

Jo, hope you got home safely with your knee driving....

Mr BHB, your post struck a cord with me, my lovely neighbour died at the beginning of the year and he had 5 grown up children, of which in the 6 years we lived next to him we only ever saw one, I expect your getting the picture, within a week of him passing away we finally met the other 'children'... They even took boxes of tissues and old wall paper rolls from the house.... very sad how people behave.. hope all calms down for you soon. x

Did someone mention brain dumping.. I think I dumped my brain a long time ago, I'm hoping to find it again now i'm not drinking so much... and on that note... back to jo... not sure how, but I have durrr.. somehow ended up with a target of 20.... probably my brain again.. I had 18 down and wasn't going to reach that this month.. it doesn't matter only if you wanted to amend the scores we won't look like we have missed so many target days.... (in case anyone's watching....) :D

Group Hug Day - Monday 27th........ thanks to Miss Piggy, Fluffb, WBF and 40sm who are also joining us.... :grouphug:

Hope you all have a lovely Friday.. chinese for me.... food that is !!! and then off to london tomorrow for my birthday treat... although it isn't my birthday until WEDNESDAY...I will be expecting cakes.... x
