Ps Jo could you not drive to the shop but sit in the car and get your OH to purchase the chocolate? If you don't go into the shop then you cannot buy any alcohol. (()) xxxxxxxxxx

Ps MIAMOO lovely to see you back sweetheart, how are you? Big hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks so much for the welcome back x I am doing ok. Since the kids broke up from school its been one long holiday for me literally! I haven't needed to get up in the morning so I have been polishing off a bottle of wine a night. Its made me so annoyed because for 2 months I felt I had it under controll, but its so easy to slip back isnt it.
Tonight I have no alcohol in the house so AF is enforced lol! I am finding it HARD the night is dragging really slowly x

I know how that feels - when I've been drinking more frequently and have an enforced AF night it feels difficult. Get the first one out of the way and then it should get better after this.

Nice to see you back around, here's hoping you stick around!

    Hi Sweetheart,

It is so lovely to hear from you, and yes it is so hard and so very easy to slip back into an old pattern. Well done on posting again and YM is scoring in September if you would like to join in with a target? Please give it some thought and well done as Fedup says on Day one under your belt again :T Hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Jo how are you doing Angel? Are you ok? I do hope so, stay strong and stay focused and you will be ok. I wish Gc was here at this very moment. Hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Yes the first few nights are the hardest, I just need to stay focused and this forum really helps with that. I keep saying "I will cut down tomorrow" but tomorrow never comes!
I am going to join your AF september challenge if thats ok x
I am off now to browse trip advisor and then have an early night speak soon xxx

evening all - well done everyone on keeping on the wagon - it's a difficult one.
It's been a slippy weekend for me - certainly not alcohol free as we had friends over for a BBQ - three bottes of wine later 'I could have carried on but they left, we put the kids to bed and started on the hot chocolate (with some cake so not good for the waistline). I feel about straight now but was very wobbley earlier and that's pretty much usual. I know I need to straighten myself out and give myself a chance.
    Trying to keep in budget.
