My eldest boy is 21 today too - so that's about 21 years and 8 months since I gave up smoking .... now if only I could do the same for the beer :rolleyes:

Had some red wine last night followed by some malibu's and lemonade because it was our anniversary. I have no get up and go today though and think its the drink that is at fault. So Im abstaining today. Well done everyone else who is managing their AF days. Don't beat yourself up though if you slip - this is what alcohol does.

Mollpolly - we were in Alcudia too. You weren't at the Platja D'Or were you? I don't think I could have been strong enough not to drink at all on holiday!

Sorry about the dog, Miss P. Its devastating when they go. I lost one of my dogs in January this year and I was very close to her and really miss her. I saw this poem the other day and think its really nice and definitely applies to me:

If Tears Could Build A Stairway
And Memories A Lane
