Oh god, now you've got me waivering already!!
I know that saying 30 is probably not a good thing as you need to live for the day etc etc.. but if I say, I dunno, 22 or something, I don't think I have the strength to stick to that.....maybe I do??
Quite a few on here have gone from daily drinking to just on weekends haven't they. My problem is also the amount I drink. A couple isn't enough, or is it? Maybe I've not tried it properly.
Oh man, look what you've started
ETA: how weird, just looked at the calender and 22 is the amount of Sun - Thurs there are in Sept!
Jo I did not mean to cause you stress just did not want you beating yourself up before the month has even begun. At the end of the day it has got to be a figure YOU are happy with.

I'll give it a go I think. I've not pledged before. Worth a try!
I know I am supposed to be abstaining completely, but I've checked my calendar and there are 3 social events which mean I might have a drink. I'll really try not to drink, but I don't want to pledge a whole AF month and then fail miserably.
It's been bl*ody hard to stay sober over the last couple of weeks and we all know I've not quite managed it, so I suspect it will continue to be bl*ody hard in September!
So, YM, please put me down for 27 AFD in September.
Hugs,
Caz

You've not stressed me, I'm already stressed!! I'll have to get back to you on the target methinks.
Right now I'm going to try and move this backside and do an hours housework before I have to pick OH up so it looks like I've been doing something today  (pork is smelling luverly, been on for just over 2 hours, 4 hours to go).
Let's hope that when I'm sitting at the lights outside the pub I don't get out of the car and rip pints of beer off the punters
ETA: it's raining!!! Thank the lord, no punters outside with beer

Now a brandy and milk, now ya talking!!
My mum told me that she used to put a drop of brandy in my milk when I was a baby, to get me to sleep!! The things they did 36 years ago!
So naturally I blame her for all my current problems......:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
