It's the bluddy rubbish man's fault that my bells are tinkling, if I hadn't seen the cans of my fav tipple I wouldn't have thought about it.
OH just rung and asked me to pick him up from the station a bit later, bout 4.30pm (prime bell time ), which means I will have to sit at the lights at a nice local pub where just about everybody that lives within a mile radius will be sat outside of at the nice circular outside tables, the massive resident old english sheepdog sleeping on top of one of them (tables not people), and drinking cold pints of beer (people not dog). When I was away last week and we were out and about, everytime I walked past a pub there were people drinking outside it cos of the weather the the smoking ban and I found myself staring intently at their beers, I want to walk up to them and rip their drinks out of their hands and down it and shove the empty glass back into their hands and walk off......is this odd behaviourDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

Nope! I stare enviously at people with glasses of wine in pubs when I haven' got one! Mind you, haven't got to the stage of contemplating downing them and handing the glass back just yet!;)**Keep Calm and Carry On!**0 -

Meant to say at the GP appointment today I filled in a form about drinking and I looked at the end of the test, it said you have a serious drinking problem if you score more than 8 but I didn't get a chance to add up what I had put down before the doctor took it back. I know I had 6 at least.:oHOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000

Yes. I remembered you had your liver tests back. It is hard isn't it. I personally don't think I could ever stop drinking totally. When I spoke to my GP today I do know that I did used to drink much more so I feel at least I am making some progress.
(Gin and grapefruit juice sounds bizarre to me but then I hate grapefruit. This is from someone who admitted they drank malibu and milk though!:D)HOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000
